"Andrea, are you there? I don't have time to waste," He said in an annoyed voice.
"I am not your fucking dog that you would order around," I said angrily. "You really have changed." He whispered but I heard it anyways. Well, after all, he is the reason I changed.
"I have business with the Andino Brothers if you know who they are." "Excuse me?!" "So you don't know who they are. They are-" "The greek millionaire twins who own a private island which they are now going to change into a huge resort. Even I do business, Mr DeAngelis. My point is why do you want me with you there?" I hissed.
"If you are forgetting then we got married yesterday for the world. The Andino brothers have given me and you the resort and they offered a stay for our honeymoon in Santorini for a week,"
"WHAT!" "I am pretty sure that I am clear with what I said. Be ready tomorrow at 7," He said and hung up.
I groaned as I slammed my phone on the table. Obviously, he knew that. Doesn't he have any other business?
I immediately called Hailee.
"Hailee? The whole project for the resort of Andino brothers is not with us?" I said as soon as she picked up.
"Uhm.... no... I mean yes..."I heard her yawn and I glanced at the clock and saw that it was 2 in the morning. "I apologise Hailee for calling at this hour, you can go back to sleep," I said as I hung up.
"It really kills you both to say 'I am sorry?" Maddie said as she walked in. "Both?" I said as I raised my eyebrow.
"You and your beloved husband," She said as she gave me a forced smile and title her head a little as I rolled my eyes. "He called me and said that we are going to Santorini tomorrow for a week," The moment I said Santorini Maddie's eye widened and then she let out a squeal.
"Madeline!" I said trying to calm her down. "You guys are already going on your honeymoon? To Santorini the place you always wanted to visit? He is so thoughtful." She said as she wiped her imaginary tears.
"You know even you should become an actor along with Leo," "Shut up! Wait did you say tomorrow?" "Yeah apparently the next project which I am working on is a joint project along with his company, and the Andino Brothers who gave us the project offered us a stay in their hotel for us," "Then what are you doing here? Go and get ready!!"
"Madeline Lewis, since my beloved husband told me that now, I have to go through the ppt and see all the designs so that I can show them the final idea, and I don't have to 'get ready' I just have to pack a few business outfits," I said stressing on the word business to give Maddie just glared at me.
"How about you do your work for two hours and I will do mine and then we will go to your house to pack your things?"
"Don't you have twelve dresses to design?" "I do but I love my best friend," I looked as I knew that it wasn't the only reason. "And I ran out of many materials that I need to buy from Paris, I can only design two dresses from the materials which I have," I chuckled.
