In Another Reality..

Chapter 1

Y/N's POV:
Phone call:
'Hey bestie!' I said to my bestfriend, Ana.'How are you?'
'Good Y/N! I just got to work, are you coming?'Ana said to me.
'Yeah I'm on my way. See you there. Bye!'
'Bye!'

When I arrived i saw Ana and huged her.
'I missed you girl' I said while i was hugging her.
'C'mon Y/N.. we are together everyday at work.' Ana  opposed me.
'I know An but we barely see each other.' I said.
'I was just joking sis' Ana said when she saw i was getting upset.
We both laughed it out and started working. This is how my days usually go.

I came home late. I took a shower and laid in bed watching some Tiktoks. In my fyp was trending something i never heard before. It was called shifting.

I did some research and apparently it was somthing about another reality. I always wanted to meet Chris Evans, why not meet him as Steve Rogers? I started reading more info about shiftin. There were so many methods to choose from.

First i wrote my script, my safe word was "MONKEY". Then I tried the first method it didn't work . I tried the second one all so  it didn't work. I tried for months, but nothing happened. I started giving up, but then a video with shifting tips came up to my fyp. I knew that the tips won't work but i tried them anyways.

My eyes were closed and when i opened them I appear in the hallway of the avengers compound. My mind started making up questions like: 'Did I just shift?, What am i doing here?, What the fuck am i supposed to do now?'

A familiar voice disturbed me.
'Hey Y/n ! What are u doing up it's 3 in the morning?'
I look up and see Steve standing right infront of me. AAAAA i was so excited. We made eye contact. A part of me wanted to hug him tightly, but that would be weird.

'I-I-I'm going to get some w-water.' I said innocently but nervous.
'Are you ok?' He asked me.
'Actually yes. I'm at my best right now'
Steve smiled at me, put his hand on my shoulder and said:
'Good to hear that Sweetheart'
Did he just called me Sweetheart?!? OMG I'm going crazy. Without showing to much excitement i said:
'Good night Steve'

I go to my  room I was in a complete shock bcs it's my first time shifting. I wanted to sleep but i couldn't. Finally i slept but i had a horrible nightmare and started screaming. Luckily Steves room was next to mine and he came running into my room.

'Hey..Are you ok? What's wrong?' Steve said with a worried face on.
'I-I-I had a nightmare' My breathing got heavier. Steve pulled me into his arms and huged me tightly.
'Sh sh shhh, I'm here with you. That wont happen again.' He tried to comfort me.
'Thank you Steve!' I was calming down.

He let me go and asks:
'Are you better now?
'Yes but can i ask you for a favor?'
'Can you spend the night here, like stay with me, y-you know what i mean, not in that way, y-you..' I started messing with my words cuz i realised what i said sounded wrong.
'Hey, hey, i know what you mean, no need to get nervous.' He came to my bed and started cuddling me.

I was in peace. I never felt that safe in my life. His warm arms wrapped around me, my face resting in his muscular chest, my hands feeling his back, his body warmth agains my body, was just AMAZING (and sexy but we're not gonna talk about that;) ) . This was the most beautiful night of my life.

We fell asleep in each other's arms. I woke up before him and just stared at his beautiful face. I fell asleep again. When i woke up this time, he wasn't there. I start dressing up and i went downstairs.

'Good morning hun!' Wanda said to me. She was making breakfast.
'Good morning Y/N!' Everyone said after Wanda.
'Good morning everyone!' I said back.
'It looks like someone is in a good mood today' Nat said looking at me.
'Well why not? Life is beautiful.' I said with a happy look on my face. Steve looked at me and smirked. Butterflies in my stomach began to fly around. I was....in love.
