Betrayal. She betrayed him, her friends, her brother. Everyone she had ever loved. She couldn't help but think the death of the Washington sisters was her fault. Never any proof that they died, but after a year it's all you could ever assume.
Natalie Hartley was no longer the humorous funny girl everyone knew her to be. She still stood in the shadow of her older brother, to her parents and friends.
She was cold-hearted girl suffering from survivors guilt. But once she was invited back to the mountain, she didn't want anyone to know how she felt. All the guilt bottled up inside her.
