Ch 1

Timeline: this is a year after the incident with sokovia took place.

My name is Lydia Danvers or Freya Vers as I go by. I'm 21 and a worker at Stark Industries as a gadget designer. You may be wondering why the name Danvers rings a bell. Well, I have the same last name as Carol Danvers... yup, that Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel. The reason behind it is because Carol is my older sister, crazy right... Carol and I had a great relationship up until my 16th birthday. What did she do you may ask, well you will find out soon

It is a peaceful day at the Avengers compound. Tony Stark had just  hired a new gadget designer and was seconds away from officially welcoming her to the compound

Tony: "Lydia, you're here. Let me give you a tour of the compound before I introduce you to the others"

Tony gives Lydia a tour before heading back into the conference room 

Lydia: "This place is so awesome"

Tony: "what did you think of the lab since that is where you're going to work at most of the day?"

Lydia: "it's a dream lab to work in. Everything I will need will be at my disposal, definitely  an upgrade from my previous job"

Tony: "that's great to hear. Let me get the others so I can introduce you to the people you will be working with"

He walks away leaving Freya alone to herself, thinking of all the amazing things she had seen throughout the massive compound

Lydia: "I am so excited to be working here. I've worked my ass off these few years and now it's finally paying off"

With Tony up on the floors where most of the bedrooms were located, he walks into Wanda's room where Peter and Wanda are playing games

Tony: "Wanda, Peter could you meet me in the meeting room, please. The new recruit is here and I want her to meet everyone"

Wanda: "of course, just give us a few minutes to clean up and then we'll head right down"

Tony: "thank you. By chance, do you both know where Natasha is?"

Peter: "I think she's in the gym but I'm not certain."

Tony: "I'll check there, thank's, Pete"

Tony walks out of the room on a quest to find the rest of the team members 

10 minutes later, everyone is in the conference room introducing themselves to Lydia

Tony: "Good, you two are finally here.  Freya, this is Wanda and Peter, two of the younger ones on the team."

Peter: "hi nice to meet you,I'm Peter, Peter Parker"

Wanda: "and I'm Wanda Maximoff, nice to meet you, Lydia"

Lydia: "same, nice to meet you both"

Tony: "As you know the Avengers are a large group of people, not just three of us. The others are on a mission but will be back in a few days"

Lydia: "how many of you are there?"

Tony: "there are about 18 of us but the majority of us live here, others liver in different parts of the word"

Lydia: "Wow, that's a lot of people, more than I would have ever thought"

Tony: "Wanda, can you show Lydia to her room. It's the one between yours and Peter's"

Wanda: "Of course come on, Freya"

Rushing out of the room, they take the elevator up to the floor that contains all the bedrooms. Wanda and Peter grab Lydia, dragging her out of the elevator and to her new bedroom

Wanda: "so what do you think?"

Lydia: "it's perfect"

Peter: "it's a bit bare but I'm sure you'll have it decorated soon. I can totally help you if you need it"

Lydia: "that would be amazing, thanks, Peter"

Wanda: "and if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask"

Lydia nods and the two Avengers leave Lydia in her brand new, bare bedroom

An hour later, Lydia is in Wanda's room, getting to know her when an unfamiliar woman walks in 

Natasha: "hey, Wanda, do you k-"

She stops in her tracks when she sees Lydia sitting down on the bed next to Wanda

Natasha: "who is this?"

Wanda: "this is Lydia, she will is one of the new gadget inventors Tony hired"

Natasha: "Hey, I'm Natasha. You can call me Nat though, nice to meet you, Lydia"

Lydia: "Nice to meet you too, Natasha"

Natasha: "Wanda and I were planning to have a movie night later on, care to join?" 

Lydia: "depends on the movie "

Wanda: " we usually take turns picking the movie and this time, I picked Heathers"

Lydia: "of course I'll join, who can say no to Heathers, it's a cult classic"

Wanda: "see!"

Nat: "whatever, I'm going to shower before we watch the movie"

Natasha walks out of the room, leaving Lydia and Wanda, laughing
