Ch 3

A few hours later

Lydia: "i'm going to take a little break, this thing has been kicking my ass for the past few hours"

Getting up form her seat, she takes the elevator to the floor where  the kitchen is located.  Wanda is also in the kitchen, standing by the fridge

Wanda: "hello, Lydia,  how is work going for you?"

Jordan: "it's going pretty well. It's so nice getting to work here, it's been my dream job for a while"

They both talk about different things for a few minutes. Distracted, Lydia doesn't notice that Carol has walked in 

Carol: "Hey, Lydia..."

Lydia: "what do you want?"

Carol: "can we talk...please"

Lydia: about what? abandoning me, about not talking to me for 6 years! 6 years, so what do you want to talk about, Carol!"

Wanda: "Hey hey hey, Lydia, calm down"

Lydia: "You hurt me so much by leaving me!"

Carol: "I didn't want to leave you but I had to for your safety!"

Lydia: "Sure you did, that's probably a cover-up!"

They both continue to  argue as Wanda stands there, not knowing what to do

Tony: "what the hell is going on in here?"

Lydia: "Mr. Stark, I came to get water. I'll return back to the lab and to my work. And Carol, stay away from me and, you will never be considered my sister again"

Carol clenches her fist but Wanda puts a hand on her shoulder indicating to calm down

Lydia: "Now if you excuse me I have countless of hours of work ahead of me"

Lydia walks away leaving Tony, Wanda, and Carol in the room

Tony: "What was that about?"

Ignoring the question, Carol pushes past him and walks out

Tony: "Wanda, what happened before I walked in?"

Wanda: "Lydia and Carol are sisters. I think Carol left Jordan when she was 16. I'm not too sure. But they were arguing about that or something related to that"

Tony: "thank you, Wanda"

Walking away, he takes the elevator to his private office

Tony: "F.R.I.D.A.Y, pull up everything on Carol and pull up everything on Lydia"

Multiple files pop up on both woman and Tony starts to read them

Tony: "So they are sisters. Lydia's name is Lydia Danvers but changed her name after Carol left her when she was 16."

He continuous to read more but before he can uncover anything else, he hears a knock on the door

Tony: "come in"

Lydia: "Mr stark,  I was wondering if you can try the prototype out with me" 

Tony: "I'll be down give me a moment"

Lydia: "of course"

5 minutes later, Lydia is showing her new device to tony

Lydia: "so this device is pinned to a part of anyone's suit. Let's say Clint is in battle but his bow breaks. All he has to do is tap the device and it will teleport a new bow to him. Same for everyone else as long as there are spares of the item"

Tony: "very impressive, Lydia. I am amazed"

Lydia: "thank you, Mr stark"

Tony: "If you would like, you can take the rest of the day off. You deserve it"

Lydia: "thank you so much, Mr stark"

Tony: "Lydia... if you don't mind me asking why were you and Carol arguing earlier"

Lydia:"...I'm sorry Mr stark but I don't feel comfortable talking about that"

Tony: "that's fine. You may leave"

Lydia leaves and makes her way up to the floor with all the bedrooms. She starts to pass Natasha's room but is stopped by the familiar redhead 

Nat: "Hey, Lydia"

Lydia: "oh hey Natasha"

Nat:  "want to talk?"

Lydia: "please"

Nat: "come in"

She walks into Natasha's room and sits on the bed next to Natasha. They talk for a while but then Natasha brings up an unusual question

Nat: "I have a question about something"

Lydia: "yeah?"

Nat: "so if you're sisters with Carol, does that mean you have powers as well?"

Lydia spits out the water she was drinking and looks at Natasha

Lydia: "She has powers?????!!!!!!!"

Nat: "Yeah... why you never knew that?"

Lydia: "NO!"

Nat: "that's one of the reasons she's on the team"

Lydia: "wait do you have some type of video or anything because I don't know what to believe"

Nat: "yeah I do"

She pulls out her phone and shows Lydia a video of carol and Wanda training with their powers

Lydia: "i- I never knew she had powers"

Nat: "you never watched the news?"

Lydia: "rarely... can-can we talk about something else"

Nat: "of course"
