Danvers Secret Sister

Ch 2

A week has passes and the rest of the Avengers have returned. Lydia is walking to Tony's personal lab to get some input on a new design

Lydia: "Mr Stark, are you busy 

Tony: "not at all, come it" 

Lydia walks into the lab towards  Tony, holding a tablet in her hand 

Lydia: "I have the blueprints for this device I'm hoping to create"

Tony: "let me see"

Lydia hands the tablet to Tony and he looks at it, amazed  by what he is looking at 

Tony: "this looks interesting,  Great job, Lydia"

Lydia: "thank you, Mr. Stark"

As they are talking, someone else walks into the room

??: "Hey Tony, can you fix m- Lydia?!"

Lydia: "Carol?!?"

Tony: "you two know each other?"

Carol: "yes we do. Do you mind giving us some privacy, please"

Tony: "of course"

Tony leaves, shutting the lab doors behind him

Carol: "Lydia, what are you doing here!"

 Lydia: "what am I doing here, what are you doing here?!?"

Carol: "Lydia, answer me what are you doing here."

Lydia: "i work here in the lab"

Carol: "why the hell would you get a job with the Avengers!"

Jordan: "why? This is my dream job and I'm happy. Besides, what are you doing here?"

Carol: "I live here because I work with them. I'm apart of the team"

Lydia: "oh so you can abandon me and have a great job. Meanwhile you don't like that I have my dream job. You abandoned me Carol! What older sister does that? And no contact for 6 years!"

Carol: "the only reason I left you was because I was putting you in danger! By leaving you I was keeping you safe!"

Lydia: "sure you were"

Carol: "Lydia-"

Lydia: "ugh leave me alone! I don't have time for this, I have a job to do "

Lydia walks out of the lab, leaving Carol alone. Once she arrives back in her lab, she sits down to and starts working on the device Tony had approved. As she is working, Natasha walks in and over to Lydia

Nat: "hey"

Lydia: "hi"

Nat: "what's wrong? you seem flustered"

Lydia: "nothing. Everything is just fine"

She grabs a few Phillips head screws and places them on her desk

Nat: "come on Lydia, you can talk to me"

Jordan: "Natasha, just leave me alone!"

Nat: "I'm sorry I'll leave"

She turns around and starts to walk out but Lydia stops her

Lydia: "wait no, Natasha, I'm sorry. I was having a good day but something happened which fucked it up and has put me in a mood"

Nat: "want to  talk about it?"

Lydia stays quiet for a second and then starts to speak up

Lydia: "it's about Carol "

Nat: "Carol?"

Lydia: "well she's actually my...... my older sister"

Nat: "what, she's your sister?!?!?"

Lydia: "yeah..."

Tears start to falls down her cheeks 

Nat: "hey, it's alright"

Natasha hugs Lydia, trying to comfort her 

In Carol's bedroom, Carol is sitting on the floor against the wall her face in her hands. As she is doing that, Wanda walks in

Wanda: "Carol ready for training-Carol...hey, what's wrong?"

Wanda walks over and kneels sits down next to her friend

Wanda: "what's wrong?want to talk about it?"

Carol: "not really but I guess if it will help. It's about Lydia"

Wanda: "Lydia, the new recruit to make inventions for us"

Carol: "mhm"

Carol: "she's- she's...she's my sister"

Wanda: "wait, really?"

Carol: "yeah... Lydia is my little sister"
