Monday 11th 2010~

It was 11:03 on my first day of high school. Well to say it was my first would be unfair..so we'll settle for first (fingers crossed) full day of high school. Typical of Caroline to make me late by re-applying her mascara for the 40th time, and now i had the worst seat in class.

I was stuck next to some rancid smelling man with sweat stains under his khaki green blouse who looked like he was probably kept back 2 years.Well that was also unfair, as me being over 2000 years old had no right to judge.

"Katerina Petrova" a voice called, suddenly alerting me I was very much still present in... mrs woodsbruys lesson.
"Present" I replied, more sulkily than intended.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed"
I head a voice mumble from somewhere across the classroom.

Almost instantly I whipped my head around and give the speaker a menacing glare reading watch it ,I spoke loathingly a speck of hatred glinting in my eyes only to realise it was one of the four people I 'bumped into' last night. I remember him as the druggy one with handsome features and bright blue eyes which I met once again almost to my delight.

The boy beside was startled at my harsh voice and moved away from me slightly. He'd struggled to fit into his seat and his knees were practically up by his chest as he cautiously stole a glance in my direction, his eyes widening . I had always had this effect on men and women being naturally attractive as most people told me, I had basked in their compliments and flirted back endlessly but now I don't care to give them so much as a second glance.

Except for the boy with the bright blue eyes.

I had spent the next half hour of the lesson making up fake scenarios in my head and it wasn't until the bell had rung that I finally snapped out of my love-struck trance.

"I feel like getting wasted tonight".
Was the first thing Caroline had said to me when the bell had rung. We were slumped against her locker applying a fresh coat of 'irresistible cherry' lipgloss, the air around us thick with sickly sweet perfume and hairspray.
"No offence Care but when do you not feel like getting wasted" I spoke correctly, tutting at her slightly.

"Care, I told you to stop taking pictures in school, your going to get that damn thing taken off you" i sneered grabbing the device off her.

"Pah not like they could do anything" she replied tartly.
I agreed silently successfully attempting to slip the phone into my pocket but not before taking a quick glance at the screen, party tonight 63 woodsgreen grove. I shook my head disapprovingly.
"And you didn't tell me!" I acted, all offended.

The corridors were packed with students when 5th period finally ended. Everyone was pushing and shoving to get their way through.

"John B wait up" a loud voice came from what seemed, literally, from inside my ear; it was so close I could feel the speakers breathe tickling the slightly sensitive patch behind my ear, sending an exciting shiver down my back. I whip my head around only to find the girl from last night. Her hair was messy and I couldn't help but notice her curls bounce on her tanned shoulders happily, her dark brown eyes frantically searching for John B whoever that was.

"Do you mind ?" Said the girl in front of me slightly pissed. I noticed I was stood in front of her and I felt my cheeks redden with embarrassment and I shuffled to the side murmuring my apologies. But Caroline and her growing reputation of the rich mean girl wasn't letting her get away with that. I winced as she harshly pushed the girl back, she stumbled into the increasing crowd causing some people to flatten themselves against the lockers to flee getting jabbed by her flailing arms. Her curls didn't look so happy now.

"care!" I screamed yanking her into one of the un-occupied classrooms.
I could feel my annoyance bubbling up inside, first day and she had already made ourselves more seen than needed, how could she be so inconsiderate; she knew how much I wanted a normal life.
"You would have just let her get away with speaking to you like that then" she defended herself pouting at me and fluttering her long eyelashes, knowing I couldn't stay mad at her for long.
"Kat you need to let loose, this party will be a good chance for us to make it up to that bitch we bumped into in the corridor, and maybe some new friends!"
I sighed knowing she had already won the battle, she wasn't asking she was telling .
