Old lady: "You must pass a quiz comprised of a single question"

Leorio: "W-wait What is going on here?!"

Old lady: "You only have 5 seconds to answer, if your correct then you shall move on if not, your disqualified from this year's exam"

Kurapika: "Oh I see so this is another trail we have to pass before taking the exam"

Leorio: "So that's it huh? Lucky I'm an expert in quizzes. . . . . . . . . . . . WAIT ONE QUESTION?!"

Old lady:"Your answer must be the number 1)or 2) ,any answer that is out of number 1) or 2) will be Confirmed as incorrect"

Leorio: "Hold on so all 3 of us are going to share the same question?! So if Y/N gets it wrong I'll get disqualified too?!"

Kurapika: "Not exactly although if the rules were reversed We'll be all but en never able "

Leorio: "You care to repeat that?" Said as a single vein popped out his head

Gon: "It's okay even if one of us know the answer all of us will get to move on! Besides I'm not so good at quizzes"

Leorio: "True...."

Kurapika: "Fair point"

???: "Hey, hey hurry it up or I'll might just answer it before all of you get a chance"

Leorio: "So who the hell are you?"

Y/N : "He's the one following us since we left the porch"

Gon: "Yea you Don't know?"

Leorio: "R-really?"

???: "Yea sorry kid didn't mean to eavesdrop but I couldn't help but hear you guys talk"

Y/N: "Then why not let him go first and see what question they will ask"

Leorio: "I guess"

Kurapika: "No objection here"

Gon: "Sure why not!"

???: "Let's get to it then"

???: 'Hehe onces I ace this quiz I'll leave a trail of traps for anyone that dare to follow me'

Old lady: "Now here is your question : "A group of evil villains kidnapped your mother and your true love and you can Only save one of them 1)For your mother 2)for your true love"
which one do you save and which one dies

This question shocked the 3 boys while the H/C girl stayed unfazed

Leorio: "Hey! what kind of question is that?!"

???: "Hehe easy the answer is number 1)"

Old lady: "Oh and why is that?"

???: "It's your mom it's not like you can replace your mom but a lover you can always find another one"

Leorio: "What?!"

Old lady: "You may pass"

Kurapika: "Huh"

Leorio: "Seriously?!"

???: "Heh looks like the trick is to tell what the old lady wants to hear, Adios"

Leorio: "HANG ON WHAT KIND OF CRAP IS THAT?! NO WAY THAT WAS THE RIGHT ANSWER! Just suppose to say what she wants to hear?! What's up with that! Say something!"

Leorio: "Ugh, okay I've had just enough of this I'm going to find my own way!"

As he was about to walk to the side of where they came from the old lady spoke again

Old lady: "It's to late for that, refuse to take the quiz if you wish but know you will get disqualified"

Leorio: "Grrrr, THAT'S ENOUGH! DIFFERENT PEOPLE WILL ANSWER IN DIFFERENT WAYS THERE'S NO RIGHT ANSWER FOR THAT QUESTION AND NEVER WILL BE!!"

Kurapika: "Huh there's no correct answer. I see" whispered out

Old lady: "Hmmm?"

Kurapika: "Leorio!-

Old lady: "That's enough! Say anything besides your answer and you'll get disqualified!"

Old lady: 'Hmm so the boy with the cat eye has figured it out'

Kurapika: "You can do this Leorio it's just a simple trick. Gon, Y/N..."As he looked at his friends

Old lady: "Here is your question :"You learn both your son and your daughter has been kidnapped, you'll only be able to save one, choose 1) for your son 2)for you daughter"
Which of these two will you rescue?"

Leorio: 'Grrr she's messing with us"

Old lady:" 5, 4, 3-

Leorio: 'Go ahead and count down you old hag" said as he walked to a log and picked it up ,Y/N by the time has already figured out the answer and was staying quiet

Old lady: "3, 2, 1- uhhhn time is up-

Just then Leorio jump up in the sky towards the elderly woman as he was about to hit her with the log Y/N jump in and blocked it with her Katana

Leorio: "OUT OF THE WAY Y/N!, THIS OLD HAD NEEDS TO BE THOUGHT A LESSON!"

Kurapika: "LEORIO CALM DOWN!"

Leorio: "HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO CALM DOWN!?!"

Kurapika: "WE'VE GOT IT RIGHT NOW QUIT IT!"

Leorio: "H-Huh we did?"

Y/N: "The answer was silence any other answers will be incorrect"

Leorio: "What do you mean silence?"

Kurapika: "You even said it yourself Leorio"

Leorio: "Huh?"

Flashback

Leorio: "Grrrr, THAT'S ENOUGH! DIFFERENT PEOPLE WILL ANSWER IN DIFFERENT WAYS THERE'S NO RIGHT ANSWER FOR THAT QUESTION AND NEVER WILL BE!!"

Flashback over

Kurapika: "You were right there's no correct answer for that, however we have to say 1) or 2) as a response and so our only choice was to respond with silence"

Leorio: "B-But what about that guy he made it through!"

Y/N: "She never said it was correct all she said was 'you may pass' "

Kurapika: "Which means that was not the correct path to the hunter exam, right?"

The old lady's lips tugged up into a small smile and pronounced

Old lady: "That is correct, the real path is right over here" as the old lady walked the way she came out of and pushed the large wooden door open revealing a lengthy dark path towards a light......
