ch. 4 the village

(Dreams POV)

The town is even worse than I imagined. Not just the buildings are dull but the people and their clothes are too. I look to my left to see some kids kicking around a can in between two trees. Now that I look around more, the children are much happier than the adults.

"Dream."

"Hm, what is it nightmare."

"Off the horse." Nightmare was now getting off his.

"Ok." I say hopping off my horse. Nightmare then tells me to stay put and goes inside the building we stopped neer. He soon comes out.

"Allright" he says, grabbing his horse's reins and starts walking. I follow him and in the back there are stables. He leads his horse into a stable and advises me to do the same.

"Now we need to go to the information building down the street. Dream what are you doing?"

"What?" I then noticed I've been hopping impatiently on my feet. "Oh."

"Well let's get you walking."

"Ok!" We walk down the street and I am happily looking at everything. But I noticed someone in a black shirt wearing a grey jacket and a grey hat kept looking at me and Nightmare. I brush it off because they probably don't see many new people. I hear Nightmare yell behind me.

"Hey!" I whip around to see someone trying to steal from him. He ran off past me. "See Dream this is what i'm telling you!"

"They probably just need money! Let's just go." We walk up to the building and up the stairs to be greeted by a man with curly dirty-blond hair and a dusty pink jacket with a brown undershirt.

"Hello! I'm Ice, how may I help you?"

"We need to get to the glasire kingdom." NIghtmare said

"Give me oneeeee second." He said as he walked back through a door. I heard shuffling and he came out with a paper and handed it to Nighty. I peeked over as he talked again. "That is a pass paper that should get you into the Deidorīmu kingdom. And since your royalty you should be able to get help.

"How did you know?!"

"I know everyone sir unlike many people i hold information. Now you should probably have guards, hm?"

"Gards?" NIghtmare questions.

"We have royalty come here all the time so we have guards for them. The roads are very pirated. I will get our best guards. They both used to guard and train for the Kisetsu kingdom. They are named Cross and KIller. Sign into the inn and They will meet you tomorrow outside, have your horses.

"Alright" I said before Nightmare could say anything and walked out.

"Dream!"

"We need to do this Nighty." I accidentally said my old nickname for him. He paid no attention, sighing and walking down the road. I was going to make this an adventure if I had to force it.

(??? POV)

I hear a knock on my door "come in."

"Sir, they will be coming here."

"Perfect." I pause "celestial is following them correct?"

"Yes Sir, he will keep an eye."

"Good."

"Sir, may I ask how much longer till we carry out phase 3?"

"Soon, do not worry."

"Alright see you at dinner."

"I will be there in a couple minutes. Shut the door behind you." He shuts the door slowly and quietly. I wait a second and reach up and feel the flowers on top of my gem. I take off the crown, the golden beads attaching the gem clanking together. I take off the blue flowers from the gem. The gem is bright red like my memories. My memories are blurry because of HER. I will defeat her. I have to.
