Miss Peregrine One Shots

~ A Day At The Beach ~

Background Information: You and Miss Peregrine are working together to keep the children safe. This not too long after the movie takes place. 

          Miss Peregrine was at the front of the ship looking for a safe place to land the vessel. Y/n was sitting with the twins, Bronwyn, and Claire, they weren't far from where Miss Peregrine stood and she came over to let y/n know that they would be able to get to shore soon. "Great, I will inform the children" Alma gave her a small nod and she left, going back to where she stood before.

          Y/n descended into the boat and began to go around telling all of the children the news they were all excited to see what there new home would look and be like. Y/n finds Miss Peregrine looking out onto the sea and looking almost sad. The two of you had been secretly trying to figure out what your feelings for each other where. They knew that they liked each other but the fact that it was probably inappropriate for them to be together since they worked together.

          This did not stop y/n from making sure the children weren't around and upon seeing no one she walked up to her and wrapped her hands gently around her stomach, hugging her from behind and placing her head on Alma's shoulder "hello you" she said with a small smile. Miss Peregrine had jumped slightly but quickly relaxed into y/n's arms "hello dear" she mumbled out and checked her watch. "Are you alright? You seem upset" Alma shrugged and was obviously keeping herself hidden from y/n. 

          Y/n knows that if Miss Peregrine wanted to tell you something that she would, and she didn't want to push her into talking about it so she just stayed cuddled up to the woman she had a crush on ever since they met. Soon they both heard a voice coming from behind them Alma gently pushed y/n off of her and y/n backs up seeing that the voice came from Emma who was smiling brightly. 

          "Guys, its alright, I have know that you two have liked each other for a long time, it's not very subtle" she giggled and y/n turned bright red. "what do you need Emma?" Miss Peregrine asked and Emma got back on track "Right of course, the children were wondering, if when we land if they can play at the beach." Y/n smiled and looked at Miss P trying to mentally tell her that it sounded like a fun idea. Miss Peregrine nodded "I guess, but we wont be able to stay long." Emma nodded and left going to collect things for the beach and Miss Peregrine turned to y/n and sighed softly 

          "sorry if I've made it obvious" she said looking down and Alma walked up to her and lifted her chin up so y/n was lookin into her eyes. "Sweet heart, it's alright, I have been thinking recently that we could tell the children, that is if that is alright with you. Although I would want to wait until we got settled into a new loop." Y/n was so excited and nodded quickly "Yes of course, I would love to tell the children. I've hated hiding things from them." "As do I" Alma said and kissed y/n's forehead. 

*when the ship docks* 

          Miss Peregrine was the first off of the ship, guiding the children to an empty beach, for such a nice day it was strange that no one was there. Y/n was the last off the ship to make sure that all of the children had made it. Y/n watched as Miss Peregrine helped the children set up towels on the sand and helped put floaties onto the younger children's arms. 

          Y/n sat on a towel right next to Miss Peregrine, she had changed into a black one piece bathing suit with a purple cover up, while y/n wore a black two piece. Miss Peregrine lays down and placed her head in Y/n's lap not really caring if the children saw anymore, she wanted to be happy and she couldn't let the fear of the children thinking badly of her get in the way of that. 

          The children definitely saw them but none of them pointed it out or said anything bad, they were raised better then that to say anything mean to someone else, especially Miss Peregrine. The two had cuddled for the whole time until y/n looks down at Miss Peregrine realizing that she had fallen asleep in her lap, it caused her to smile and she began to play with her blue tinted hair. y/n noticed that her face had been getting a little red and she got out the sun screen and put it onto Alma's face, gently rubbing it in, careful not to wake her.

          Alma woke up not too long afterwards and she looked around, sitting up and making sure all of the children were alright. Y/n directed her attention to Alma and smiled "come with me" she stands up and she brings her closer to the water and sits down on the damp sand "make a castle with me" she said and Alma shook her head "y/n... we aren't children" "Come on Almaaaa..." she pouts until Miss Peregrine gives in "alright alright just stop looking at me like that" she giggled softly and sat down with y/n. 

          The two make their castle and y/n looks at it proudly and Alma looked at y/n finding her absolutely adorable in how much she liked their castle. Alma stands up and looked at the peculiar children "alright guys, we should get going, remember that we are on barrowed time and we must get to our new home before dark" she said and the kids began to pack up their things and they went to the ship to collect their belongings, then they changed, and they carried their things to their new home where they lived happily ever after 

(AN: Thank you for reading my first One shot! I hope you enjoyed, and I hope to write more soon. I know that the ending was a bit cheesy but I thought that it would be a cute little ending to the first chapter)
