Miss Peregrine One Shots

~Fallen with the night~

Background Information: Topic of shifting, you have been working to shift to MPHFPC for a very long time, one night during one of your nightmares something amazing happens

TW: Suicide attempt

Drowning. Down in the deep night, tired, and scared. Running from the monsters that haunt you. A light, it represents the feeling of relief and comfort, that's when you wakes, that light begins to take shape... Until it looks quite familiar. Its her, she was sitting on her bed, brushing the hair out of you face. 

"Y/n? Hun? Wake up your having a nightmare" Y/n finally is awake, tears flooding your eyes as the woman she had always fantasized about being with was sitting in front of you. 'you did it, you shifted' you thought to yourself 'now what' Miss Peregrine leaned down and kissed you "are you alright dear? I woke up to you tossing and turning" she said in a loving and sweet voice, it was like heaven to your ears.

"I- Um- Yes I'm alright, only a bad dream. That's all" You said, Alma nodded and smiled softly "well then" she paused and laid back down with you. "why don't we go back to sleep" she added. You cuddled up to Alma and nodded, you prayed that you would wake up and sill be laying in the woman of her dreams arms.

In the morning, you awoke, you looked around frantically but saw that you were still in the beautiful room that was Alma Peregrine's. "what's wrong hun?" she asked and y/n looked up to see Alma sitting up on the bed and reading a book that looked ancient. "Oh- nothing sorry I didn't see you there" you blush at the mere sight of her. Alma thought that it was cute and she pat the spot next to her telling you to come sit with her. Of course you do and don't think twice about it. 

"Can we go out and do something today?" you ask softly and Alma looks away from her book and down at you who had your head on her shoulder. "like what dear?" you blushed at the nickname and shrugged "I don't now what sounds good to you?" Alma thinks about it "hmm how about we go down to the beach, just the two of us" 

You nod and smile "that sounds lovely" Alma nodded back "alright then its settled" she placed her book onto the bedside table and looked back at you "I hate to ruin the moment between us but I believe that we should get up and go start on breakfast for the children they will be expecting us before you know it." You nod again and get out of the bed that looked as if it could belong to a princess. Alma follows soon after, she walks over to the closet and she finds something to replace her navy robe she was wearing. 

She put on one of her many navy outfits, changing in the open in front of you, you tried your best to stay respectful about where your eyes went but they did end up wandering quite a bit. Alma didn't notice and frankly didn't seem to care. You soon walk into the bathroom to change your clothes because you don't want Alma to see your body. You finish changing and you walk out to Alma accessorizing and putting on makeup. She had left her hair down and you look at it smiling, you never saw it down before and you see how long it actually is, you would have never expected it to be so long since it was always up,

You walk over behind her sitting at her vanity and you smile at her in the mirror "your hair looks beautiful like this" she said happily and you play with it in your hands, it was incredibly soft, like clouds and you finish getting ready as well. Once you are both ready you go downstairs and you being cooking with Alma to make the children their breakfast.

After about a half an hour the two of you finish breakfast and she tells you to inform all of the children and that is what you did. You walk upstairs going from room to room telling all of the children to come downstairs to eat. Once you finish you go down with Claire and the twins at your sides. When the four of you enter the dining room Alma had set the table, and was sitting at her usual spot. All of the children sat down and there was one spot, next to her.

"Well aren't you going you going to sit down y/n?" you hear Alma say and you quickly got to your seat "yes of course sorry" you smile softly and Alma replies "darling don't be sorry" she smiled at you back.

Later that very day you and Miss Peregrine were changing into your bathing suits you change into yours in the bathroom, it is a one piece to cover the places you didn't like. But Alma wore a bikini that showed off her beautiful figure you blushed bright red from looking at her, you both put on coverups and you walk with her to the beach and you hold each others hands. 

At the Beach the two of you take off your coverups and you are once again met with her body, you try not to look knowing you will fall for her harder than you already have. "come on love" she takes your hand and she walks with you to the water. You both get in and you squeal at how cold it is, Alma laughs at you, you look at her with your mouth open "you think that's funny huh?" You reach down and splash her so now she was touched with the cold water all over, she screams and laughed.

"Yea! That's what I thought!" You laugh with her, she gives you a mischievous look and she pushes you into the water but you grab her arm and pull her down with you. You both scream and stand up quickly, "How rude!" she said and you look at her offended, "me? you pushed me!" "you splashed me" "you laughed at me!" you guys bickered and after she kissed you to shut you up. You kiss her back and after you pull away you lay in her arms as you stand in knee high water.

You think about how you never want to leave her side, but you know when morning comes, you will wake up and she will be gone. 'How can I stay here forever...' you think to yourself and then an idea pops into your head, a risky one, but it was all you had. You bring Alma out to the deeper water and you two played in the water with each other like children. 

"I'm going to go dry off and lay in the sun for a little bit, care to join me?" Alma asked you, she was getting tired, she may have played like a child but she definitely wasn't one. "I will, but you go I'll be there in just a moment" She nods and she leaves you in the water, she goes up onto the beach and and lays out a bed sheet that they brought to lay on. 

You take a deep breath and you slowly fall beneath the water, you count 25...26...27...28...29... and everything goes black. Alma looked up and noticed you were gone, she panics and ran out to the water as fast as she could "Y/N!!?" She walks through the water where the two of you were and she finds your body floating around under the surface, she gasped and drug you out of the water and onto shore, she began CPR, she didn't stop for 15 minutes, she was sobbing over you "Please... come on" she whispered, she was so tired from the CPR it was hurting herself "WAKE UP DAMNIT" She yelled thought the tears.

You wake up with a gasp, coughing your guts out. Alma also gasps and she grabs you pulling you close "oh thank god y/n what happened, you need to be more careful or you could get yourself killed!!" "I know" "If you knew then you would have been more careful" "I know" "what do you mean y/n" you just stare at her blankly "you did this on purpose..." the tears that once resided in her eyes came back and threatened to fall down her face. "why..." she asked softly "you wouldn't get it" "try me darling" you open your mouth to speak "becau-"

Black. No Alma, No nothing and soon you realize what happened and you open your eyes "no..." you whisper, you immediately begin sobbing "no no no no!" you yelled 'this cant be no i need to go back' you thought and closed your eyes trying to go back but no luck. You are left laying in your bed alone again "come back... please... I'm sorry"
