Miss Peregrine One Shots

~ Troubled Memories ~

Background information: You've been with Miss Peregrine ever since you were a child but you are both adults, You have been acting a little differently recently and no one seems to notice

It was a bright beautiful morning but as y/n woke up, she didn't exactly think so. To her it was just another day of doing the same exact thing... over and over the children and every one else residing in the loop would repeat their daily tasks. To y/n it was getting terribly boring.

She got out of bed doing her normal tasks of getting dressed, brushing her teeth and hair, and did a basic makeup look. She walked downstairs and down to the dining room where everyone was sitting already eating. Recently you were always the last one to get to the table. Y/n got a bunch of looks wondering why she was late but no one ever asked questions.

Y/n sat down in between Miss Peregrine and Bronwyn, The breakfast was pretty quiet and to try and break the tension Miss Peregrine spoke up "every one remember your tasks for the da-" she was cut off by y/n standing up and she stomped out of the room and out to the garden. She was quickly followed by Miss Peregrine "y/n where are you going? you were not excused"

"Just go away! I'm sick of this, all of it, the same thing over and over, never ending!" She raised her voice at the woman she saw as a mother. "Y/n you know that this is our duty and that this is what has to be done for us to survive" Y/n only rolls her eyes and she began walking away from Alma. The older woman sighed and watched her. "Y/n come back here this instant"

"No! You don't ever listen to me! Don't you hear me?! I'm drowning in this world you've created and I cant stand it anymore!" y/n said continuing to yell. The other children were watching from the window which caused y/n to become very embarrassed, her cheeks burned red and she began to run into the yard away from all of the children's view

Miss Peregrine felt pretty bad for the girl, she was clearly dealing with some things but she had no idea how to help, let alone she felt guilty 'why couldn't you have made a better loop, you had one job, keep the children safe and happy and you couldn't even do that could you?' Miss Peregrine's self conscious told her. Her eyes were welling up with tears as she began to walk around the yard looking for y/n

Y/n was hiding from the world in the bushes, she was crying but trying as hard as she could to stay quiet, she was not very successful. The sound of crying didn't make it very hard for Miss Peregrine to find y/n. "Y/n dear please come out of there, don't make me come in there and get you" she said in a soft and loving tone. Y/n did as she was told, and she had her head hanging low, she was embarrassed of her behavior bus she couldn't help but feel that way.

"Hun, I am so sorry that you are feeling like this and I wish there was anything that I could do for you to help. Because I would do anything to see you happy, you know that." Alma said and cupped y/n's face with her boney but soft hands. Y/n nodded "I know..." Miss Peregrine pulled her into a hug and closed her eyes, y/n did too as she tightly wrapped her arms around the taller woman.

Y/n had need crushing hard on Miss Peregrine for quite some time now and she was blushing terribly in the hug she was in. Alma knew about y/n's feelings for her and she definitely felt the same way, she was waiting for the right time to tell her, and maybe this wasn't exactly the best time but she wanted to cheer y/n up.

"Y/n? Hun? I'd like to tell you something" "hm?" Was all she responded as she had her face nuzzled into the woman. "I know about your feelings towards me" y/n pulled away from Alma and started freaking out a bit "hey hey, relax" she paused and smiled "I love you too y/n" she said and kissed her.

Y/n was panicking but did not turn down the kiss, she wouldn't even think about doing that. She kissed her back and when they did pull away Alma saw how much y/n was blushing which caused her to giggled softly "come on dear let's go for a little walk though the garden...

(AN: this chapter is a little shorter than I wanted it to be but I wanted to get SOMETHING out since I'll be on vacation this week. I will probably add to it at some point though)
