Jean's POV

"What can I tell you about your past? Well... let me start at the beginning..." I said, looking to a now eagerly curious Akira.

"Many years ago, during a late night in early Spring, I was awake cleaning up whatever I had dropped, and I heard a random knock on our door. So I went over, opened it, and found no one... except a baby on our doorstep." I paused for a moment, seeing Akira's eyes widen in shock.

"So I picked them up and brought them in... We spent the next few days asking around to see if anyone was missing their daughter... but no one claimed her, so... we adopted her." I glanced back to Akira, who now looked in disbelief.

"I was... Left behind...?" She asked in a small voice. "But... I almost forgot to mention..." She looked back at Me and I picked up the box I brought again and held it out to her. She stared at it for a moment before slowly reaching over and picking it up.

"When you first arrived on our doorstep, you were wearing this... and I held onto it until I knew you were ready. I think now would be the perfect time to have it."

Akira's POV

I opened the box and I let out a small gasp, pulling out an Anemo Vision on a necklace chain. It glowed a brighter blue green when I touched it.

"A Vision...?" I asked, sounding out of breath. "Correct. We have no idea where it came from, but... it's possible it came from Lord Barbatos himself." Jean added. I stared at it yet for a moment before stringing it around my neck, letting it hang slightly. "Wow... Well how am I going to get this into a Family Tree test?" I asked with a chuckle. "I can help you write some of it if you'd like me to." Jean smiled.

"Perfect! Thank you Jean." I replied. "Of course! But right now, it's getting late. We should head home. Cmon." Jean stood up and Barbara and I followed. While we were walking I looked at my Vision yet for a moment with a smile. "Or what if... it came from someone else?" I muttered.

Later on at home, everyone had went to bed... Except for me. I was too busy thinking. Thinking about my past. 'Why would my parents leave me?' and, 'Why would I have a Vision so young?' swirled around in my head.

I sat up on my bed and looked out the window, the moonlight shining down on the town of Mondstadt. "And no one here claimed me...?" I whispered to myself. Then I started thinking. 'Maybe my parents don't live in Mondstadt? Maybe Springvale or Liyue?' I pondered that question for a little too long as I didn't even notice Barbara enter my room.

"Akira? What are you still doing up?" She asked in a whisper, giving me a slightly worried look. "Oh- Hey Barbara... just thinking I guess." "Thinking about who your family was?" After she asked that, I went silent for a moment. I wasn't sure how exactly to respond. Especially since I've known Jean, Barbara, and some of the Knights as my family for years.

"Yeah, I guess a little bit." I replied finally. "Ahh... well, don't let it get to you! If you ever wanna possibly go looking for them. I'll be happy to help you!" She put a hand on my shoulder with a soft smile. "Thanks Barbara. You're the best." I smiled back and reached over, hugging her.

She was a really good friend, and Sister to me. I looked over to my desk for a minute then seeing my Vision glowing a little brighter in the darkness. "Wow..." Barbara's eyes widened in amazement, releasing us from our hug and looking towards my Vision. "That's beautiful..." She trailed off. I picked it up off my desk and stared at it for a moment with a smile. "Have you tried it's powers yet?" "No... but I plan to try it out tomorrow." I replied, setting it back down.

"Well... We should probably get some sleep then! Oh! And tomorrow we start setting up for the Windblume Festival! There's gonna be a lot to prepare and we'll have to be ready!" Barbara said, starting to walk for my door. Ah yes, the Windblume Festival. It's a lot like a Spring Festival, but they both have their own differences. "Alright... and Barbara? Thank you." I replied, giving her a small wave. She smiled back and shut my door, Leaving me alone again.

I looked back to the window one last time before laying back down, staring at the ceiling. "Maybe someday, I'll find you again." I whispered as I fell asleep.
