Ch8

Max POV
It was getting dark and it was our bed time so I called in all the pups to let them know it's time for bed. Rubble let the old Paw Patrol sleep in the tv room for now. I'll be honest I hate them so much. I hate that their back like nothing happened over the years. Then I heard they didn't enjoy their lives well who's fault is that, they choose to leave this great life behind.

They left by their choice and I can't believe Rubble would forgive them like that I don't understand why. If my friends left me because they wanted to do something better for their lives I say that's selfish. It's like saying I'm not good enough for your life.

Cooper: "Come on man just one more game"

Max: "No you know Rubble's rules when it's bed time it's time to go sleep"

Bella: "You really are Rubble's pet aren't ya?"

Max: "I'm not his pet I just want you guys to respect his orders"

Chip: "I feel like your overthinking this a bit Max I know you care about Rubble so much but I think he would care about you too, and I don't think he wants you to be serious all the time"

Max: "W-Well I guess we never know then"

Daisy: "Why won't you ask him then?"

Max: "What ask him no way it will show I'm weak"

Grizz: "There's no a shame of being weak Max's everyone have limits even Rubble"

Max: "Well he didn't stop when he saved me, he kept going without no fear or weakness"

Cooper: "Ok geez you wanted to be brave alright then"

Then the pups all started to head to their pup houses. I was heading towards mine until I was stop by Daisy. I turn to her wondering why she here.

Daisy: "You know my dad cares about you?"

Max: "I know that"

Daisy: "And you know I care about you too right?"

Max: "Yes of course Daisy I know that"

Daisy: "Then as a daughter of Rubble let me say this, Rubble will care about you no matter what you do, even if your weak and scared Rubble will be there for you"

Those words hit me like a rock, I didn't expect Daisy to tell me some adults stuff like that. I'll keep that in mind.

Max: "Thanks Daisy"

Daisy: "Any time Max's oh and one more thing, you got to hide that picture of you and my dad Max's it look pretty obvious your obsess with Rubble"

I turn to my pup house to see the picture she was talking about. The picture of just me and Rubble the first day I joined the Paw Patrol. I hide the picture under my pillow and blush of embarrassment.

Daisy: "It's ok I won't tell anyone your secret is safe with me"

I took a breath of relief then she smiled and walk away. I went into my pup house take one final look at the photo then place it right next to me. I'll make you proud Rubble you saved my life after all. You make me feel like I have a real dad. I peacefully close my eyes and went to sleep.

*Beep* *Beep*

I was woken up by my alarm clock, I always wake up early because it's a good way to impress Rubble. That no matter what time I'll be ready to help him. I got up and stretched out then walk out of my pup house, the sun haven't come up yet that's how early I wake up. That's when I saw Rubble walking towards me, I was a bit surprise. The sun isn't shiny up yet but it was a little bright to see him.
