Bangchan's Point of View

It has been about five months since we have moved together and I'm still not used to it. But, I love his presence nonetheless. At this point we are conducting our research already, we have finished almost all our interviews and about half of our paper. Tonight would be another study session. Something I always look forward to at the end of the day. It's the only time we get to spend together, alone. Precious moments I would trade for the world.

It's a quarter past 10 pm and I'm waiting for him in the dining area. I have already set up our laptops along with some snacks. A few minutes had gone by and I hear an alarm go off. And it just kept ringing and no one was turning it off. I decided to stand up and check his room. He was still fast asleep, unbothered by the noise. I come near him to turn the alarm off. He must be tired from practice today.

"You look lovely tonight moon," I whisper softly. Despite the poor lighting the room had. His beauty was evident. Shining brightly like the earth's moon. How I wish I could have you like how our planet has its own one. I walk near the bed sitting by his feet. How I wish I could hug you, cuddle up in one bed in a house we would build a family in. You'd be the best parent to our kids. I know you would treat them nicely. They would probably love you more than me. But, I wouldn't complain. I mean, I love you more than myself.

"Minho~ wake up we need to study," I said while patting his feet, he flinches at the sudden touch but eventually calms down. He stretches his body out then rubbed his eyes in the process, before he sat up.

"Chan?" I calls out and I hummed in response.

"Is it okay if we skip for tonight? I need to practice a dance which would be thought to the 12th graders." He asks as he got out of the blanket. Well, we're already advanced with writing our paper so skipping a day won't be too bad.

"Sure, I'll just put the stuff away. If you need some space we can clear up the living room." I tell him. We then both exited his room, I headed straight to the dining area to turn the laptops off.

"I need you as a pair by the way." He says behind me. It's been quite some time since I danced, I might be a bit rusty. And knowing how good he is at it, I don't know If I would be able to follow.

"What genre would it be?" I asked placing our things in our bags. It took him a few minutes to answer back. What is with the hold up though?

"It's a slow dance, it's for their prom." He said, then it would be easy then. But, that means I need to hold him. I fainted smile carved on my lips at the thought of wrapping my arms around his waist. When I was able to clean up the dining table I headed to the living room, I found him sitting on the sofa fidgeting with his phone.

"Do we need to push the furniture aside?" I asked, he turn his head towards me shaking his head in response. He stood up, got the speaker from the cabinet under the TV and turned it on. He then walked towards me while the music began playing. The song was a track from Twilight named Flightless Bird, American Mouth. It was a song that was playing in the background of the scene where Edward and Bella were dancing in the gazebo.

"Do you want to take the male role or the female role?" He asked looking directly at my eyes. Just his stare makes me melt.

"Male role," I answered, with that, he laid his right hand on my shoulder and held my other hand with his left. I place my hand on the side of his waist then tugged him a bit closer.  His eyes never left mine and we stayed still until we heard rustling outside. It seems to be raining, and it poured down hard.

"Step left." He instructed and so, we did.

"Back, right, forward and repeat." He said and we moved to the beat of the music. It is amazing to be able to do something he loves with me. He then pulls away then spun inwards. Making me hold him from behind with both of his arms cross around his stomach. My hands held both of his and we swayed slowly. After that, he spun out in the opposite direction and when he came back to face me both of his arms were around my neck. I wrapped my hands around his waist and with that, the power went out.
