Chapter 13:
Alaria Lightwood
I woke up to heavy arms around my waist which did in fact scare me but it didn't wake him. I just can't believe I actually slept, I had trouble staying asleep since that thing happened. I was comfortable and didn't want to get up. I went to rub my eyes but the bandages on my hands caught my attention and then I remembered I punched him in the face multiple times.
I took the bandages off my hand an examined it, it was fine just some cuts and a few bruises. I then ran my fingers along his face, I felt so bad for hurting him.
"I'm okay" he grunted out. He was waking up. "I'm so sorry" I feel terrible.
"It's fine, It's not like this was the first you beat me up" he said adjusting himself to a more comfortable position which made me realize I was laying on his chest. I quickly sat up making him groan because of my hand on his crouch. "oops sorry" I apologized again moving my hand sideways which landed on something hard.
"Dominico" I hit him on his chest as he chuckled. He pulled up his shirt revealing his gun in his pants. "your an idiot, why do you sleep with a fucking gun" thank god it was a gun.
"It's a habit, my bad" he chuckled out.
"how long did we sleep" I ask curiously, I just remember falling asleep in the car.
"I let you sleep for a while in the car and then I brought you back, so I guess like two hours" he says. Huh. I rubbed my eyes trying to keep myself awake, I was still incredibly tired. He sat up as well and stood up to go to the bathroom.
"don't worry you can sleep on the plane" he said reminding me that we were leaving Atherton for good.
"hey do you have anything I can put on my cuts" I got up and walked to the bathroom and went into my secret compartment with my medical stuff pulling out a cream. I tap on the counter before he jumps up like a child and waits for me to apply it.
"wait what is it" he asks looking at it suspiciously. "It's will help your cuts heal faster" I tell him, It's what I used for my cuts after fights when I had to model the next day. He leaned forward bringing his face closer as I gently put some cream over the cuts. He started grunting when I did.
"whoops, I forgot to say there's a little sting to it" he grunts again, "beauty is pain" I giggled out. As I applied cream on the last cut on his chin, he moved even closer as our faces were now an inch apart. "Dom" I said playfully. He knew what he was doing. "Ari" he said. "your turn" he added before getting down and placing me on the counter.
"hands" he said as I held them out to him. He applied the cream to my hands and then rubbed circles with his thumbs over my knuckles before gently touching my neck.
"how is it" he asks, "It's fine" I reply. He grabs a towel and wets it before dragging it against my neck revealing the bruises. His hand mark was still visible. I saw Dom's eyes wince up in anger and his fists ball up before he dropped his head.
"hey, I'm fine, honestly" I tell him grabbing a hold of his hands. He undid his fist as I brought his head back up. I thought he was fine until he lifted my shirt showing the hand marks on my waist.
"fucking hell" he whispered. I decided to try and lighten the mood by giving him a piece of his own medicine so I leaned in close towards him so our faces were close. "watch your self Lightwood" he said.
He went to leaned into me closer as our lips are now a centimetre apart.
"I'm sorry, I've been an asshole" he said. "you made up for it" I tell him.
