Heartless Love

Chapter 2

Hope and Jade are in Hopes jeep and Hope is about to drive Jade home. Right as the two girls are about to take off they see a girl that they share hatred for. Her name is Emily. Hope hates Emily because her parents are always comparing her to Emily and saying stuff like "Emily has better academics that you" "She's smarter" " You should be more like her" "She scored more points than you" and the one Hope hates the most of all is when her parents says that Emily should be top cheerleader and that Hope doesn't deserve it.

Hopes parents are very hard on her. UGH, just the remembrance of her parents saying those things makes her want to do something cruel to Emily.Hope is then snapped out of her thoughts about Emily when Jade clears her throat and says "In a bit she's gonna pass by that fire hydrant, you should do your witch thing and make it  explode so she gets soaked" Hope then smiles widely. a gleeful feeling takes place in her. She wonders if the vampire sitting right next to her could read her mind.

"Good idea" she says with a smirk and evil glint in her eyes . She then gets ready to chant the spell so the fire hydrant explodes and soaks Emily. "Pyrokinesis" Hope says and BOOM water starts spritzing out rapidly while Emily is getting soaked by it and tries to start running but stays in place and can't move because Hope then says "Telekinesi" and that keeps Emily in place, not able to run away.

Jade and hope are laughing so hard. Hopes holding her stomach that starts hurting from laughing to much and that's when they see Dorian,the assistant principal,who stopped Hopes spell. Hopes faces then falls in annoyance, "Buzz kill" Hope murmurs. She then starts the car and takes off from the school to Jades house, not caring if Dorian saw that it was her who spelled Emily

Hope and Jade are driving in silence with the music blasting and then Jade turns it all the way down "hey Hope, can i ask you something" Hope then turns the music back up but not all the way, just enough so she could listen to it and talk to Jade at the same time. Hope then answer "hm, i guess, what about?" "Josie" Jade replies bluntly "Josie Saltzman?, what about her" Hope asked. Thoughts fill her mind about why Jade wants to talk about her. "yea, her, it's probably nothing but i noticed how you stood up for her when i was going to make a little fun, i'm just curious why, you never do that kind of stuff, you'd usually jump in to, but no, instead you made me stop" Jade said carefully, trying her best not to cause anger to her friend.

Hope tenses up after jade finished talking. She then questions why she did it. Why did she stand up for Josie? she honestly doesn't know why. It felt instinctive, she didn't plan on doing it she just did. Jade then clears her throat, and Hope realizes she's been lost in thought for a while and she needs to answer. She doesn't know what to say so she just comes up with a tease to maybe change the subject. " aw Jade, are you jealous?" Hope asks with a smirk, she then lays her hand on Jades thigh and starts rubbing up and down.

Jade then tries answering back, but as she tries speaking she feel her breath caught in her throat and a small gasp that escapes her lips from the feeling of hopes hand rubbing up and down her thigh, so close to her center because the advantage Hope is getting from her wearing a short skirt. She then says with her voice hitched "jealous of Josie? The girl who's has been devoting her life to her sister and has been living in her shadow for most of her existence" Hope then removes her hand, and she doesn't know why but she feels a furiously heated feeling take place inside her when jade said that. She decides to just close her eye and take a deep breath to calm herself so she doesn't snap at the vampire sitting right besides her. Right after, she turned the music back up all the way so she didn't have to make conversation with Jade for the rest of the ride home.

Jade had other things in mind and bravely decided to turn the music back down and continue on to figure out why Hope stood up for for the girl. It's weird and so unlike her. "So.." Jade says and then continues "you never answered my question" Hope then rolls her eyes and turns the music back up all the way. Hopes thankful that they're almost to jades house. Jade on the other hand decided to give it a rest knowing she wasn't gonna get anything out of Hope...at-least not right now.She can't lie though, she does feel a bit jealous that Hope stood up for Josie but she's just gonna tell herself that it meant nothing and just something nice Hope did in the moment even thought that's very unlike Hope.
