"Isn't that Zayn?" Normani asked confidently.

"Who?" Lauren quickly responded. Zayn was Lauren's ex boyfriend and they broke up months before she and Camila got together. Well, Zayn and Lauren only had 6 months relationship because apparently, Lauren told him that she was in love with someone else and that was of course Camila. Zayn decided to let her go.

"It's him," Vero said.

When Zayn turned his head, he saw the girls standing by the cashier. A smile crept onto his face and decidedly approached the girls.

"Heeey," Zayn exhaled while the girls waved at him except for Lauren. "Lauren,"

"Hi Zayn," the green-eyed greeted.

The girls all had a smirk on their faces causing Lauren to slightly frown at them.

"Um Laur, we're gonna start playing now, we already have a spot for bowling..." Cece said.

The girls left Lauren and Zayn alone at one side and they began playing.

"It's been so long," Zayn stated putting his hands in his pockets.

"Yeah," replied Lauren a little awkwardly.

"So, how was Aussie?"

"I liked it there," the girl smiled.

"I see," the guy nodded. "By the way, how are you and Camila doing?"

Lauren averted his eyes to her friends who were enjoyably cheering at one another. She looked at the guy and spoke. "Oh we're uh, doing fine," she lied which ached her heart a little.

"That's great," Zayn nodded with a smile.

"Zayn!" His friends called a loud. He turned his head and gestured for them to wait a while.

"Hope you have a happy love life alright?"

Lauren chuckled. "Thanks, you too. Wait, do you have a girlfriend?"

"Yeah she's currently in LA," he told the girl.

"Ah, okay," nodded Lauren.

"I gotta go well my friends are calling me so,"

"Yeah sure!"

"See you around," Zayn winked and walked away from Lauren who walked to her friends.

"Eh," Elizabeth lightly nudged Lauren. "What did you both talk about?"

"Nothing," the green-eyed shook her head. "We just catch up about things you know..."

"Ooooh, so he has a girlfriend?" Vero joined in.

"Yeah," Lauren smiled.

"It's great how you and Zayn are still friends," Normani said.

"I agree. Oh and by the way!" Cece squealed. "Ashton is going to visit me next weekend!" she was talking about her boyfriend who was out of town.

"Ah you guys are so cute!" Normani grinned.

.....the girls continued playing bowling while Lauren decided not to play. She sat on a chair and just watched her friends play. Minutes and minutes later, the brunette got bored so she took her phone out and clicked on her camera roll and scrolled through her photos.

Lauren smiled, stopping at a photo of her and her father. Her father was no longer alive. He passed away due to a war - killed in action. The next photo Lauren scrolled, was a picture of her and Camila. Camila had her arms wrapped around Lauren's shoulder and was kissing her on the cheeks. The brunette sighed a sad and just kept scrolling through. Mostly, the pictures were memories of her and the brown-eyed brunette. She never intended to delete them.

She missed her chocolate unique eyes, her hair, her smell, her laugh, smile, cute lame jokes, little expressions, specially her touch and most of all Camila's presence.

Being affected by her deep thoughts about her ex girlfriend, Lauren asked herself, 'why did I have to fucking leave? Things wouldn't change if I stayed right by her side...' The brunette changed mood, she locked her phone and kept it in her bag.

And suddenly...

I wish that I could wake up
With amnesia, and forget
About this stupid little things...
Like the way it felt to fall
Asleep next to you
And the memories I never
Can escape, cause I'm not
Fine at all...

Normani's phone rang. It was her textone. It made Lauren frustrated because of the lyrics of the song.

"Hey Mani," Lauren called. "Could you do me a favor?"

Normani raised her brows and gestured the green-eyed to continue.

"Could you change your ringtone?" Lauren asked.

Normani let out a chuckle knowing what was the reason. "I'm sorry..."

"It's just that-"

"Yeah I know," the dark girl tilted her head and pouted.

"-Lauren saw me outside the house and we talked a little, well she talked more," Camila explained to Dinah.

"Girl, don't you see? Lauren is so pitiful," Dinah sighed. "She's been chasing you and you seem not to care about it,"

"You know she's hurt me," the shorter brunette stated.

"I know. Second chances are solution yanno?"

It made Camila slightly guilty hearing what the taller brunette had just said. Second chances.

"It's not that easy," Camila said, lifting her feet on her bed and comfortably lied down.

Dinah turned her body and looked at her friend. "But are you happy when you get to see her?"

It took a few seconds before the shorter brunette could answer. She wouldn't deny, she missed the presence of the green-eyed. "No,"

"Lies,"

"I'm happy with what I have now," Camila declared obviously lying to herself.

"I could assure you that Lauren's feelings for you are still strong she would do anything just to make you want her back," Dinah told her friend.

"How could you say that?"

"You really wanna know why?"

Camila nodded in response. "Okay, Vero texted me everything that Lauren wanted to say to you but i'm not going tell you," Dinah said truthfully.

The short brunette sat up and it had her attention. "Was the message long?" she asked, sliding her fingers through her hair.

"Super, nah," Dinah said. "But what's on the message is for sure million times more of what Lauren want to tell you,"

"You're making me guilty..." Camila admitted.

"It's not my choice, Mila..." The taller brunette shrugged. "But i'm telling you, second chances are solution to make things better,"

"We'll come to that part," the short brunette said.

"Make sure you don't regret,"
