25 // What matters is now

Three days since Dinah had caught Camila and Lauren having romance on the couch and since she saw Camila. It was like they barely have enough time to see each other. Most importantly, Lauren has been thinking about asking Camila out as her girlfriend again but she wasn't sure if it was such a great idea.

The brunette couldn't just walk up to the brown-eyed and ask if she's willing to be her girlfriend for the second chance. No. The situation was not all settled yet. They're not fully alright. Making it worse was that she still has a rival over Camila and she couldn't lose to the guy though she knew that the brown-eyed wasn't interested in Michael at all. Camila had already explained to Lauren that.

Lauren's thoughts were interrupted when someone rang the bell. Chris paused his game and got up to get the door.

"Coming..." Chris stated as he walked. He opened the door, reaveling a blonde guy.

"Hi Chris," the guy greeted.

"Luke, hey come in," the younger boy said, stepping out of the way.

"Is Lauren in?" Luke asked.

"Yes,"

The two boys walked to the living room. "Lauren, you have a visitor!" Chris exclaimed and quickly getting back to his game.

Lauren looked up to see who was standing a distance from her.

"Hi Luke," Lauren greeted. "It's been so long,"

"Hey and yeah that's why I came to visit here," Luke admitted. "I missed you so..."

The brunette got off the couch and walked towards the blonde guy, giving him a quick embrace.

"Shit, you grew taller?" Lauren frowned amusively. "I didn't need to tip toe when I give you a hug,"

Luke chuckled, "You're just short,"

"Excuse me?"

"I'm kidding. You're right, My height increased with 7.5 cm," the guy smirked.

"Eh, Chris is almost catching up with your height," the girl winked, glancing at her brother who was focused on his football game. "And he's years younger than you..."

"We're boys, what can you say,"

"Show off!" Lauren playfully punched his arm.

"By the way, are you free to get some starbucks?" Luke hesistantly asked.

"Yes she is!" Chris answered chuckling.

"Okay," the girl nodded.

Lauren and Luke sat across each other while enjoyingly taking sips of their frappucinos. Both were not realizing that they were looking like a couple at this very moment. They were having deep random conversation and then laughing.

Suddenly, Lauren's phone buzzed. She picked out phone and unlocked it. It was her lover.

From Camz❤️: Hey, i'm on my way to Starbucks with Cara. Are you free to join us? Pweasee, I miss your face:(

Lauren's jaw slightly dropped after reading the message. She looked up and glanced at Luke who was looking at her with a curious look.

"What's wrong?"

"N-nothing I, let me reply this..."

She decided to tell the truth rather than lying since Camila would be there any minute soon.
