Tonight, as usual. Jaeyun runs over to look for heeseung and heeseung brings him his favourite snacks.

"Hyung! My name to be used in Australia has been decided!" The younger said excitedly.
"What is it?" He asked, filled with curiosity. "Jake ! Jake Shim Jaeyun !"  "jae ee keu ?" The older tried to pronounce with much struggle
"Something like that."
"ok !" Heeseung smiles brightly

That night, Heeseung set his mind and decided that he wanted to learn English. He wanted to visit Jaeyun in Australia when he grow older. The following week, he spent much time looking up resources on the internet and made trips to the library. He also got his parents to buy him some English textbooks and guides.
His parents didn't mind, since their son is happy, since their son has an interest and a goal. They also figured it'd make a pretty good investment to learn English since it is a universal language.

Heeseung and Jaeyun would spent time practicing English or speak English while they play. They thought it was fun and is a fresh experience.
Heeseung would also often teach his parents some new words he learnt recently. His parents enjoyed learning from their son, they treat it as a family bonding time. They would spend some time every day to learn and improve themselves individually, coming together on Sundays to present what they learnt and did over the week.
Heeseung watching his parents improving much more than he does each week, made him determined to do better. He took his parents as role models and studied harder, not just in English, but it all aspects.
In no time, he was the top student in the school. Receiving many awards and going for competitions representing the school.

However, at this point. Jaeyun has been gone for a long time. Its been 2 years since he left. Heeseung has never gotten any news from him, what is worse is that he never got see him off.

2 years ago, on the night of december 14th.
Like always, Jaeyun visited Heeseung at night to play.
"Hyung, I'm leaving tomorrow" jaeyun said with much sadness in his tone. "I know" responded the older. Silence filled the air as they both look down, not sure what to say or do.
Jaeyun quickly broke the silence by saying "don't worry! I'll come back. I'll remember you i promise!" even though he was unsure if he will actually return.
Jaeyun jumped onto heeseung giving him a big, tight hug which brought a smile onto his face.
"What time are you leaving ? I want to see you off" asked heeseung.
"Very early, around 6am" the younger said. Heeseung replied with a soft "oh" as he knew he would never be able to get himself to wake up in time to say bye.

That night, he decided not to sleep. He forced himself to stay awake, he wanted to wait until 6am to be able to see jaeyun off. But he was tired, he fell asleep.

He was woken by the sun shining into his room, he quickly checked the clock and it was already 10am. He ran out of the house to the Shim's house, rapidly knocking even though he knew no one would open the door. He went home, disappointed. He didn't get to say a final goodbye.

Now, with jaeyun in Australia, whenever he tried to contact jaeyun, it was always his parents responding saying "He's doing fine" , "He's doing well" or "He's busy at the moment".
He never gotten the chance to speak to him at all ever since he left.

Overtime, it broke heeseung of course but he knew jaeyun has made new friends there and forgotten about him already. He was happy for him, enjoying and adapting to a new life. But Heeseung, growing older, slowly understanding love.. he knew, he loved jaeyun. He wants to be with him.
