Hyunhee quickly wrapped up her conversation with the guests and made her way towards the roof.

She saw the silhouette of a man sitting on a bench. It was Hyunjin. She ran towards him and embraced him from behind. It was chilly.

You must be feeling cold no?  she thought.

_HYUNJIN'S POV_

Hmm...It's quite cold up here. Should I have asked her to meet me in the car? Nah never mind, one must never regret their choices. *A cold wind blows* OH WHO AM I KIDDING?!?! No regrets?

No, my motto is "DO IT NOW BUT REGRET LATER" and that's what I'm doing!

...Huh? Suddenly its warm. 

Ah someone's embracing me. Its so warm and gentle. Of course, its Hyunhee.

I turned my head to look behind. There she was.... my Hyunhee.

"You must be tired." I said touching her hands.

"I was but now its all gone."

I tried to pull away from her embrace so that she could sit down but, she held me more tightly 

"Nyooo...just a little longer....please?"

I giggled. She sounded so cute. How could I ever deny her anything.

 "Okay. For as long as you want."

It was quiet but it was blissful. The moonlight was shining over us, as if blessing us. And it wasn't as cold now.

She sat next to me and smiled at me.... that smile, it drives me crazy. I would do anything to keep that smile on your face Hyunhee.

Anything.

"Hyunhee?" I looked at her, holding her hands. 

"Hm?"

"There's something I have for you. Close your eyes...its a surprise!" I slowly pulled out a box from under the bench. I placed it on the bench and opened it. I lit the candles in it. I reached to my pockets and brought out a ring. A ring for Hyunhee. She always loved those things. But today I'm not giving it to her just as a gift but something more. 

"Open your eyes Hyunhee!" As she slowly opened her eyes I shouted,

  "Happy Birthday my dear Hyunhee!!" 

_HYUNHEE'S POV_

Hmm? Close my eyes. Why is he asking me to do that? Well let's do it anyways. 

"Happy Birthday my dear Hyunhee!"

Ah...that's right, it's my birthday today. I almost didn't notice. 

No, I.....forgot.

But I'm glad Hyunjin remembered. He really was the only one to remember that my birthday was today. 

"Thank you sooo much Jinnie....I'm so happy!" 

"Now then, make a wish and blow out the candles." I nodded

A wish....yes I wish that Hyunjin finds all happiness of this world and gets whatever he wishes for. I wish that this moment can last forever. I blew out the candles. Then I noticed a beautiful ring on the cake. 

" Hyunhee.....this ring, it's my gift for you. But that's only half of it."

Half of it? why?

Hyunjin then gently took my hands and interlocked it with his.

"Hyunhee....you mean the world to me. I'd give anything to make you happy. I wish to see you smile always and I wish to be the reason to your smile. So Hyunhee.....will you become MINE?" 

He looked at me tenderly, with his beautiful brown eyes. I blushed and looked into his eyes too. It's not like I had never been asked out before...I had...confessions more extravagant that this but no other confession in the world could be more special than this.

The boys who ask me out always mention my full name Kang Hyunhee. Kang....what a loathsome name....my dad's name. I don't have a pleasing attitude with others, so of course they fawn over my wealth.

No.....my dad's wealth. I hate it.

But you didn't say what all of those boys did. That is why you're so special to me. You made my heart flutter today Hyunjin. You always do. So I want to give you back all of those things you've given me.

I threw my arms around him and pulled him in closer to my lips. Our lips touched. His lips were warm and soft. They parted slightly, allowing my tongue to slip inside. 

I could hear his heartbeat. It was fast just like mine, as if it might jump out. But then a thought popped up.......what if my dad doesn't allow this?? He sees me as a political tool anyways.

But none of that really matters right now. Only this....only being with Hyunjin in his arms is all I need.

I pulled away and smiled at him staring into his deep eyes and said,

" Yes I will..."

_HYUNJIN'S POV_

Yes?.....she said YES!...

"Hyunhee you have no idea how happy I am right now! I love you so much!" I wrapped my hands around her and embraced her tightly yet warmly. It was so all so surreal. But I'm really ecstatic right now.

"Thank you Hyunjin.....for this gift, for today. For everything."

No Hyunhee......thank you for everything. I can now call you mine....and I will protect you from everything.

Even your dad.

Hyunjin and Hyunhee didn't want to let go of this moment. It was the best thing that had ever happened to both of them.
