Diana's POV:

We were on the road with me driving the SUV with Tony in the front seat and Octavia sleeping on Gio with her head on his lap. The Romano's were driving in front of our car guiding us the way to their house.

"I trust every decision you make but are you sure about this sis? you know we can't trust them and the fact that they are the Italian mafia is enough for us to stay away from them". Tony said in a quiet voice, turning his head to the side so that he was looking out the window. I already know that we can't trust them. Even if we did I would never give Octavia to them. It was not about her safety but at the same time it is everything about her safety. The Romano brother's won't hurt her, of that I am sure, the love and and  hope and the desperation in their eyes when they saw her was enough to convince me that they won't hurt her on purpose. But at the same time each one of the brother's had flaws and a lot of pent up anger and grief in them. The combination of these emotions have never been the right mix. Even if not on purpose but I know that they will end up hurting her at some point. The Romano brother's aren't emotionally stable people. And like I said before, each one of them has their own inner battles happening within themselves, a nuisance that Octavia doesn't need. "We can't let them have her. She has already suffered by their hands already enough as it is, albeit they weren't aware. She has come way too far to go back to how she was when we got her. She's part of our family now and I-- we can't lose her her Ana". Tony said in a quiet voice, still looking outside the car window.

Both me and Tony looked at the rear view mirror to look at the back seat as we heard stirring from there. The both of them were still sleeping. I looked at Anthony and gently patted the backside of his hand. "I know Tony, I know". I said and focused on driving again.

The Romano brother's stopped outside a huge gate which was heavily guarded. " They are the fucking Italian mafia after all". I thought. The guards opened the gate and the Romano's continued driving inside and we followed them. The mansion was very huge, looked modern but still had a very Italian look to it.

"But mine is way better".

They stopped and every one got off the car, following them we stopped the car and got out. The oldest Mr. Vincenzo came towards me. "Hope you had a nice ride Ms. Smith". He said. "I did". I replied sounding not interested. My response seemed to have left him a bit annoyed. sighing I said " It is three in the morning Mr. Romano. If you could show me to a place to get some rest and freshen up I would appreciate it". I was quite exhausted honestly and so were my brothers. Vincenzo seemed to be ticked about something judging by the popped up vain in his forehead. "Right this way". Vincenzo said stepping aside and motioning me to follow him with his hand. Nodding, I went to wake up Gio. Anthony had already gotten out of the car. I opened the door and gently shook his shoulder and whispered in his ear. " Gio wake up. We are here". He woke up and looked down at Octavia who was still sleeping with her head on his lap. He nodded at me and got out of the car, gently removing her head from his lap. After getting out of the car he stretched a bit "let her sleep a bit longer, she has had a long day" Gio said yawning. Octavia might not be related to us by blood but she is still our younger sister by bond. Seeing him care for his siblings like this, something that I rarely get to do anymore, I softly smiled and gently caressed his head lovingly.

He has been worrying all day about Octavia and hasn't rested at all, didn't have a proper meal, yet he still puts others before himself. "You must be tired too. I know I don't get to tell you guys this often but I'm very proud of you Gio, all of you". I softly said smiling. "I know, I learned from the best after all". Gio said chuckling. Our little brother-sister moment was interrupted by Anthony 's annoying whining " come on you bitches, don't leave me hanging". Gio sighed and said "This boy, you won't ever change will you". Anthony pretended to think humming with a finger under his chin like a child while Gio went and carefully scooped Octavia into his arms and held her princess style. Gio went and placed his blazer over her and whispered into Gio's ears and said "nope" popping the P out. Gio sighed annoyed. I ruffled Anthony's hair which I knew would annoy him and said " man child". He made an ugly pout to which me and Gio just ignored.
