*Alarm clock ringing* "Five more minutes..." I grumbled, trying to turn off the alarm clock.
- "AH!" I yelped, falling off the bed. "Ow..." I groaned, standing up. I walk over to my closet and change clothes.
Grabbing my bag, I head into the kitchen and eat breakfast.
I finish eating and head off, "Don't forget your lunch!" my mom said. I snatch my lunchbox and put it in my bag. "Have fun at school, dear!"
I get to school and head in. I open the door to the classroom, "Hello?"
- Berdly popped his head up from behind the teacher's desk, "No one's here!" he said. "Berdly, you know I can see you, right?"
- He stayed silent. I left the classroom and headed to the closet in the back. I grabbed a stick of chalk and took a bite. [*I was bored, what was I supposed to do?] "Hm." I put the chalk in my bag and left the closet. I hang out by the lockers, munching on chalk.
I hear the door open and see a silhouette. "Noelle!" I whispered. I put the chalk back in my bag. She sat down and started drawing. I look over, and... [*I-is she drawing me?]
"Noelle? You're here early." Kris said. "Oh! Hi Kris!" she said. "What're you drawing?" he asked, opening his locker. she looked down at her drawing, "N-nothing, just... Just a c-classmate." she stuttered. "Well who is it?" he asked, starting to look at the drawing.
She hid the drawing quickly, shoving the sketchbook in her bag.
Kris went in the classroom and closed the door.
- "Hey." I said. She turned around, "S-S-Susie!" she said, stuttering.
I chuckled. "Um, about yesterday, y'know, at the library?" I said. "Hm?" she tilted her head. "Sorry if I scared you or... whatever..."
- "Scared me? N-no, I just-- AH!" the bell rang, startling her. She jumped and bumped into me, knocking me down. "S-sorry! I-I didn't mean to! I just--" I cut her off, "It's fine, just-- Just calm down." I chuckled, "Ow..." I groaned. "A-are you ok?" she asked. "Y-yeah, I'm fine." I stood up.
"I-I'm s-sorry, I didn't mean to do that... I just got startled." she lowered her head. "It's fine, I get it, okay?" she opened the classroom door and sat down at her desk.
Alphys began teaching.
"Psst!" I whispered. "Hm?" she turned around, "What is it?"
"Can I borrow a pencil? I didn't bring any." I asked. She searched through her pencil case and handed me a pencil. "Thanks." I smiled. "No problem."
Class ended, and it was time for lunch.
