As I walked into the ballroom, it was deadly quiet. Eye's creeping around, looking you up and down. The queen of Saeko nodded her head, her hair flowing like waves of the ocean.
Meadre who was ruled by the twins. " Welcome Queen Celestia," they spoke in harmony. The one twin looked me in the eyes, her piercing glare gave me shivers.
The queens of Zemlja greeted me with honor. They both look like they were not against me being queen. They looked pleased with my arrival.
The young king of the Lufa kingdom bowed his head with no words. His silence said it all. He wasn't gonna support me.
The two sisters of the Mahieka kingdom snickered at me. I stared at them for a minute, they tilted their heads. "Don't get WICKED with me." the one twin chuckled. Their words pierced my heart..as my mom's sweet smile flashed in my mind before seeing her with dark skin, blood on her clothes, white eyes. I held my head down, a salty tear fell down my face. They laughed louder and louder, a mix of anger and sadness filled my head. I scampered away as rain fell from my eyes.
The queen of Fiore grabbed my arm, tugging me out of the crowd. I yelped in surprise as her hand was cold. " Grow up." her voice was stern. " Sor- Sorry.." I gulped. " Jara-" the twins of Meadre grabbed my arms intensely and carried me. "Hey! Put me down! Jara, help!" I panicked, this isn't normal. " Don't worry, you're not in trouble. It's just time for us to gather." the twins smiled. Jara followed behind us, her presence made everyone nervous.
As we gathered around the big circular table, each of us had an assigned seat. Throne's for each kingdom. Mine sat at the end as I was always the main kingdom. Mahieka sat on the right of me, Jara sat on the throne to my left. Straight ahead sat Luft.
" Your thy Queen now Celestia. Although, technically you're not a Queen. Haven't been through the ritual." One of the Queens of Zemja said. " Emile, Don't be so harsh. She's only eight-teen. She hasn't learned to fight. Her father might have chosen wrong." The Wife of Emile spoke, I was almost furious. " I do know how to fight. How dare you accuse me of not knowing what I'm doing." I stood up, My face flustered. Emile and Ari got into an argument.
Was I truly royalty?
" My kingdom who's Located in the Northwest, is dying. My people are running out of things to eat. Our population is declining. What are you going to do Our queen" the queen of Saeko asked in desperation. I hesitated, still flustered "Amaya.. Please. We will send food. We will send children without a home. Raise them as your own." I tried to be as gentle as I could, but since she was the second largest kingdom it was hard. What if I couldn't do as I say I can?
"Celestia, I understand you are new royalty. But since I am old I must give advice. Don't give people your word if you can't keep it to them. I learned from your Father. My kingdom is almost nothing because of him-" anger started to boil inside his words
."The feeling of betrayal. He said he'd give us precious gems. All he gave us was moonstone. We asked for different food, transportation. He gave us nothing, As my kingdom is located in the Misti Mountains. My people are always cold, The sun is farther from us than you."
" Are you not used to it? The winter months must be deathly cold." I asked, trying to get away from my father's accusation.
" Don't change the subject with me, young lady."
" Sorry Veviorn. But I just don't like your tone of voice."
" Well I don't like that, your Queen. And you don't see me complaining now do you."
"Actually I do. Your tone of voice is quite loud, is it not?" I snickered, anger started to boil in the air. The quality of the air started to go thin, as if he was trying to kill me. The other kingdoms just watched. I started to pass out, my vision went black. Memories flooded back.
