As I sit in the audience of my favorite band I watch as the lead guitarist strums his last chord. Magical. I never really liked rock music up until I heard about this new band. The lead guitarist also happens to be one of my classmates, Xinyoun (Xinyan). We used to be pretty close but he's been so busy that I haven't had the chance to even say hi to him.

When we were younger I could listen to him practice for hours so I was really excited when I heard he formed his band with my other friends Venti as lead singer, Aether as a drummer, and Xiao on the backup track for any instrumentals like violin or flute. He doesn't much like to be the center of attention so he's okay with being in the backing instrumentation and vocals.

After the concert is finished I clap and walk away with the rest of the audience. Xinyoun has been so busy lately that I don't want to bother him now at his concert. He's probably tired. I'll talk to him later.

He's currently one of the most popular guitarists in the country. Everyone loves coming to watch him (not to mention, he's pretty cute and all the ladies love him).

Getting into my car, I heave a deep sigh and start my car, 'I miss when we were closer and he wasn't so busy.'

In a way, I was jealous, jealous of all the girls who got more time and attention with him than me. In truth, I've had a crush on him since we were younger but I would never admit that to him.

Especially now, it would be bad for his image. I would be bad for his image.

A knock sounds on my window which sends me out of my reverie and I jump and hit my head on the roof of my car.

I look out the window and see Xinyoun standing outside of it.

I roll down my window and roll my eyes at him.

"Hey~"

"What do you want?"

"What? No hello? You haven't seen your best friend in weeks and this is how you say hello?"

"And who's fault is that?" I stare at him unamused and upset and hurt.

"Look I'm sorry, I can't exactly hang out all the time as we used to when we were younger."

"Right. You're too busy for me. You don't have enough time for me."

"This isn't about you. I'm focusing on my career right now, I love you but I can't spend all my time with you."

"A call or text once in a while would be nice."
