At the cerulean gym:

"Ash, I need to grab a few things. Could you watch togepi for me?"

"Sure."

"Pika!"

"all right, have fun you guys."

Misty exits the gym.

"Shoot! I forgot my money!"

Misty opens the door to find the room completely on fire.

"I was literally gone for 2 seconds! What happened?"

"I don't even know!..."
