"you like me, don't you?"
Misty's face turned bright red as ash suddenly blurted this out. They had gotten into yet another argument when ash suddenly had said this with a cheeky grin.
"I- I-"
The thought had been eating away at him ever since they'd first met but it wasn't until just now that it finally clicked.
Ash look at her with a smirk
"come on, we both know you never cared about that stupid bike."
"I did care! We just became good friends after that, that's all..."
"It all makes sense now! I knew it!"
"you've got it all wrong!"
Ash just stares at her with that same cheeky grin.
Misty decides to stare directly back at him in a mocking fashion with her eyes wide open.
The two of them stare for a moment's silence...
Ash gives her a quick kiss on the nose.
Misty's face turns bright red and she instinctively gives his forehead a light smack.
Misty mutters under her breath.
"You are such a brat..."
"I love you too..."
