Chapter 1-Meeting Raven

My name is Raven.No last name just Raven.Im a high ranked warrior in the supernatural world.Let me explain myself before you jump to any conclusions.I am a raven, and my name is Raven pretty crazy right?Im technically a shape shifter because I can shift into my Raven and into my human form.In my human form I stand at 5'9" in height. I have dark black raven colored hair,green eyes with specs of brown and blue, and my pale skin.Many people said I look like a vampire.Seeing as though vampires are made of perfection to lure their prey.I wasn't the girl that would focus much on my looks because that's not what life is about.Life is about you following whatever path you take not based on looks.Its always about your decisions in life and not about what other people think with one glance.I chose the path to be a successful high ranked warrior.At night time, now that's a different story.I go to the human world and that's where I turn into an assassin.No I don't go around killing people for no reason.I kill people that have wanted posters for them and then return their corpses to the person that wanted the person.Its like a sudden anxiousness.

Tonight wasn't however my lucky day.I was flying over the boundary for the campus that I stayed on that was ruled out by my guardians.Which are my uncle Vincent and my aunt Ron.They are the most powerful warrior couple.Well if you want to include the Greek Gods then that's ok with me.I used my heightened senses to scope out the area when I came upon a small girl with a teddy bear clutched to her chest.She has brown long curly hair and wore only a pink dress that reached her knees and a flower crown upon her head.I swooped down stealthily and changed into my human form sitting in a tree watching the girl.I narrowed my eyes sniffing the air, she's a human but something's off.She caught sight of my glowing eyes and whimpers.I jumped down from the tree landing gracefully on the ground.Im only a few feet away from her."What are you doing here,human?" I ask her with a hard tone.She flinched and closes her eyes.I do have a soft spot for kids but her scent is just a tad bit off.I began to feel a little sorry for the girl when a smirk forms on her face and her eyes change into a glowing color.Just like how Artemis does when she-"I came to warn you.But I won't do so without making a statement." Her little voice coming not so innocent.Ever since Artemis was granted that stupid little power to possess someone's body to talk to people, she's been abusing it.I didn't waste my time.I went to fight her but I was tackled down to the ground by a auburn colored wolf.

I teleported above the wolf and fell right on top of it.I formed a sword in my hand and looked at the little girl controlled by Artemis.I smirked and looked her dead in the eyes when I sliced the wolf's head off with the sword, I slid my tongue on the tip of the sword and moaned, teasing her."Wolf blood isn't it tasty." I said while still smirking.Anger pierced through her eyes and she began running towards me.I jumped into the sky and changed into my raven.She looked around.It was night time so since I was the color as night itself she couldn't find me."Raven, I swear if you don't come out those shadows I will beat-" she couldn't finished her sentence.I jumped down in my human forth creating a little crack in the ground and snapped her neck.I pulled out a little cure potion and dripped it in the little girl's mouth.Don't worry she'll live.I didn't kill the little girl to be honest I just put Artemis to sleep and the little girl is unharmed she wouldn't feel anything.The little girls neck became the way it was before I snapped it and there were no marks on her.Her blue eyes glowed in the night, I watched her look around and then looked at me."W-Who are you?" the little girl stuttered out.I smiled a small smile."Im Raven." and helped the little girl from the ground."Im Rae.Can I stay with you?I lost my mommy when she was outside talking to her friends and a lady with pretty eyes took me somewhere." she said and then frowned."I can't remember anything else." she says while scrunching up her face."You can stay with me but I must warn you their aren't many kids but there a few, their being trained for something." I say while grabbing her hand.She picks up her flower crown and her teddy bear from the ground and follows me back inside campus."So like dog trained or.." she said curiously out of blue."No trained to fight." I said.

As soon as I walked into my cabin, I knew we weren't the only two here.I felt another presence.I made blades with my hand and threw them in each corner where the shadows lurk.When I threw the last blade in the right corner I heard a whimper."Ow!" I heard a lady shout in pain and come out of the shadow.I soon realized it was my aunt and the tip of her ear was bleeding.I widen my eyes and rush to give her a paper towel.I use my control in my hand to make all my blades go back into my hand and disappear with a little cloud of fuchsia smoke in my hand.I looked at Rae to see her looking at me with awe."So who's the little one?" My aunt asks.I flick my unimpressed gaze to her.I knew that if I took Rae here, someone would smell her scent mixed with mine and go to my cabin."Artemis possessed her, I snapped her neck and then cured her.But she said that Artemis had token her from her mother when she was outside with her while she talked with some friends." I murmured softly.Ron raises a brow at Rae.Shes currently playing with her teddy bear.Ron sniffed the air."Her scent is off a bit.Was it off before?" she asks me while hardening her eyes."Yeah but that was because Artemis possessed her." I said and sniffed.But this is totally different, she wasn't just human.I studied Rae carefully.What could she possibly be?

Rae turned around and caught my gaze with her tear streaked face."R-Rave my body hurts." she whimpers while sobs broke out her small purplish lips."Get her to the infirmary." Ron says and teleports somewhere.I pick up Rae and quickly take her to the infirmary."Rave what's going on?" Ron asked me quietly."I don't know." I murmured.One of the ladies that work at the from desk who is Lucy smiles at me and then frowns once she noticed Rae's tear streaked face."You need the ER I can clearly see, go on up the doctor should be finishing up with a patient by now anyway." she says while waving her hand dismissively.I teleport to the ER."Mr.Ferguson, I need you to see what's wrong with her it's an emergency." I said while rubbing Rae's back as she fell asleep but would flinch at the slightest movement.He nods anxiously and takes Rae out of my arms."You can come back tomorrow for the results."He says.I give Rae one last lingering look before teleporting home.

Raven meet me in my study it's urgent,I hear Vincent say through the link.I groan and teleport to his study to see him looking through some files."What is it?" I ask him while sitting in a chair.He looks up at me with his green eyes looked at me."The Gods...they have your..mother." he says slowly while studying my face to get some sort of reaction."Ok, that's her business." I say while cracking my stiff neck.I never really liked my mother, heck I don't even know her.But the thing is my aunt Ron which is my mother's sister said that when my father supposedly got captured by Hades for something he did she didn't want anything to do with me so she gave me to Ron and Vincent.He narrows his eyes and clears his throat."Anyway I have assigned you to a mission.I have provided you with a uniform and new weapons.You are to train for two days straight and on the third day is the mission." he says while handing me a vanilla folder with some information.I take the folder and scan over the information about some party the Gods are having."I got Garry to improve the power of your weapons.Ron made your new uniform." he says while muttering the last part.I put the folder down and clasp my hand together."So what does it look like?" I ask.He hits a button on his desk and behind his bookshelf is a mannequin wearing a catsuit.I open and close my mouth."I mean it's nice but isn't it a bit revealing?" I ask Vincent giving him a side glance.He shrugs, "It's perfect for the party because we know some of the Gods can't keep their things in their pants-" I cut him off by coughing Zues's name and then coughing again."anyway, it's also perfect because your part femme fatale so you automatically attract Gods and then you attack." he says while grinning.

"So are you ready to start training?" Vincent asks me while smirking.I nod."Im ready." I murmur softly.
