Payne carried Ire into her room and went to set her down when her eyes began to flurry open and closed.

"Where am I?" She asked, but her eyes were just to heavy and quickly closed.

"You're at the brotherhood mansion, in your room."

"Are you leaving me?" She asked tiredly.

Payne tucked her into the blankets and kissed her forehead, "Yes, but I will be right down the hall, room with the turquoise door knob remember." He whispered.

"Please don't leave me..."  She whispered.

He felt that sting in his chest making him rub it harder than he expected. Payne took a long deep breath.

"I will be just down the hall, not far." He answered, then placed a soft kiss on her cheek.

He quickly flipped the bathroom light on and walked out of the room so she could get some much needed rest.

Ire wanted to argue, but she was so exhausted and fell right back to sleep.

Ire woke up not quite screaming, but whimpering and soaked in sweat. She took a few deep breaths and looked around the room, thank the Sky Keeper it wasn't dark and no one was hanging over her. She got up out of the bed and walked over to the door, she looked out in the hallway. It was softly lite and very quite, she snuck out and made her way down the hallway until she found the door with the turquoise doorknob.

Ire took a deep breath and opened the door as quietly as she could, she slipped in and shut it, but before she could turn around she was shoved into the wall and had a gun in her side.

"Who..." Payne yelled, then he let out a long breath.

"Ire, what are you doing?" Payne asked and set the gun on the table next to his door and let her go.

She turned around and had tears running down her face, her knees buckled and she crumbled to the floor.

"I was just scared and..." She whimpered in between pants as she tried to catch her breath.

"Goddess Ire, I...I didn't mean to scare you. I'm really sorry."  He whispered.

"It wasn't you." She cried and fell into him, holding him tight.

He crumpled down on the floor holding her till she stopped crying and calmed down.  He pushed her back and willed the lamps on so he could see her face.

"I am happy that your here, but why are you?" He asked.

"I woke up alone and scared and you said if I needed you..." She answered, but didn't look at him, she continued to stare at the ground.

He lifted her chin with his hand meeting her eyes with his own, "Come on, let me take you to bed."

She didn't smile or say anything, just softly nodded her head. His lips barley lifted to a smile as he softly griped her hand helping her off the floor and brought her over to the bed.

She went over to the other side of the bed, "Can you turn around?"

He looked at her confused.

"Why?" He asked.

"Well I don't want to sleep in jeans... I forgot to change."

"Oh of course." He said and turned around.

Payne felt the cold chills go down his spine as he heard her zipper come undone. He looked over his shoulder just a little he couldn't help it, she slowly slipped the pants down her thighs exposing her beautiful silk skin and then she stepped out of them. He had to swallow hard just so he didn't attack her where she stood. He closed his eyes and listened as she lifted the blankets and slid in.
