I recently finished watching Resident Evil Infinite Darkness and I am severely disappointed and upset about how they ended it.
Leon S Kennedy is kinda the main focus of the series and if you know him then you know he is in no way a coward and would do absolutely anything to keep another outbreak from happening because he can't bare the thought of making others deal with the same trauma he had to deal with.
This series takes place after the events of Resident Evil 4, where in my opinion Leon dealt with the worst he ever had to because he was infected and had to feel his body physically changing while dealing with a pampered princess who physically couldn't even get down a ladder without his help.
In the series they're trying to figure out who attempted to hack into private government documents but it ends up turning into a giant conspiracy that Leon finds himself stuck right in the center of.
There are also other agents but the main focus besides Leon is a agent named Jason who is called a hero because he survived a civil war which was actually a zombie outbreak and he didn't actually survive because he got infected and is having to take a drug to stay human.
This agent Jason ends up telling Leon about true terror and how he wants everyone in the world to feel it just like he had to and at first you don't think this affects Leon because he doesn't act like it.
However later on he has all the proof needed to uncover the conspiracy and his old friend Claire believes they should tell everyone and instead of trying to stop it Leon walks away from her with the information saying he can't do it.
Leon would absolutely never do something like that! He has always focused first and foremost on protecting the people and finding the company behind what happened to Jason and his team and that country would have been his first goal!
Also he would never turn his back on Claire like that because she's one of his closet friends and she endured Raccoon City right along with him.
Because of Leon's actions the company Tricell (sound familiar? Yeah that's the company Albert Wesker is basically running in RE5) gets away with everything that is basically the catalyst for RE5's whole entire storyline.
I understand that RE5 has to happen but the ending made me absolutely disappointed with this show because Leon would never do something like that ever because he cares to much about the well being of others.
Sorry for ranting, I'm just super disappointed with how they basically made Leon completely go against his whole entire character development!

(This is the Leon that I know and love and will forever acknowledge)
