Lucio's new update just dropped which finishes his reversed ending for me and upright for others but the reversed ending has me feeling very mixed right now.
So remember that theory where I said MC would probably become the devil? Yeah well they did and not for the reason I theorized.
Instead it was because despite the Devil's warning and the other Arcana they decided to use all the power given to them to destroy the devil which resulted in them beginning to die.
Where the devil once was there was a glowing gem which with the MC's permission Lucio plunged into their chest which resulted in them becoming the devil and they are arguably much worse than the previous devil.
While order has somewhat been restored to the world the MC has Lucio as count of Vesuvia again and back to his old ways actually if I'm being honest he's worse.
The MC now the devil has him taking over nations and making citizens praise them for helping Vesuvia become stronger.
The MC also seems to have no qualms with restoring to violence involving the other Major Arcana if need be.
In the end you see that the MC and Lucio are attempting to take over Parka with Nadia fighting desperately to keep them from doing so.
The MC does state they wish it hadn't come to this though and that Nadia should have backed them up to begin with.
As for Asra, Muriel, Julian, and Portia they've all disappeared according to what Lucio told MC.
And I was treated to this CG where Lucio is on his knees before MC wanting to receive a punishment/pleasure whichever they decide to give him.

In the end the now devil MC and Lucio begin their Punishment/Pleasure session- so yeah that was kinda weird.
While I'm happy I was right, I feel this reversed ending really doesn't make that much sense, I also feel it was maybe a bit rushed?
I've seen the others and to be honest this is probably my least favorite of them all and I'm a huge Lucio fan.
If they ever make a Valerius route, I really hope it's better put together than this one.
I think I'll try playing through again for the upright ending but as for the reversed I think I'll just stick with my theory/fan version.
