The Emperess' s necklace

     Emperor Faustin Soulouque was a real emperor of Hati from 1852 to 1859. He has a beautiful wife who is the empress, Adelina. Emperor Souloque loves his wife very much that he has made his two jewelers Carline and Veronique who made the most beautiful jewels throughout Haiti made a beautiful shining black golden necklace for his wife and the emperor give it to his wife at a beautiful masquerade ball party that he threw for her in the palace,  as a symbol of his love for her.

     The emperor declared that anybody who dare to steal his wife's necklace will be put to death because that necklace is a symbol of his love for her and his appreciation toward her for being a good wife to him and a good empress to the people of Haiti. The emperor's general's army Fabre Geffrard who was the emperor's real army's general in real life and whom the emperor Souloque made him duke of Taba in 1856, and  sees this and takes this opportunity to use the necklace to dethrone the emperor. 

    Fabre Geffrard tells his mulattos fellows about the plan that they should steal the empress's necklace to dethrone the emperor, which will put Geffrad as president that will give him the power to give his fellow mulatto's elites to take the power back. Fabre Geffrard <<  The emperor said anybody who dare to steal his wife, the empress' necklace will be put to death because it is a symbol of his love for her and his appreciation toward her for being a good wife to him and a good empress to the people of Haiti. So that necklace is very special to the emperor>>

    << The emperor values that necklace so much that if we steal it, he will have war with us, I'm going to steal the necklace when the emperor will leave the country tomorrow to go to France for a business affair and when the emperor will come back from his trip after few weeks, they will report him that his wife's necklace has been stolen by us, while we are going to give the president of our neighbor the Dominicans the necklace to keep until the emperor will come to the Dominican Republic to take the necklace, we will seize the necklace first, and while the emperor is fighting against the Dominican president, we will take the throne behind him. That will make me become, me a mulatto, the new president of Haiti, and that will make me have the power to give you my fellow mulattos back the power of Haiti, that emperor Soulqoue took from us>>

  << But the emperor is an idiot, and not fully clever because he has given me, a mulatto, the highest power position in the army of the empire of Haiti as general,  give me highest power in the empire as well, and he puts me as his protector. It will be so easy and soon and later, we will take the power from the emperor because he didn't fully get rid of all of us, the mulattos and that necklace's plan will definitely succeed to dethrone the emperor>>

    The mulattos' elites' males << That is true, Soulqoue is not fully clever and is an idiot the way we thought he was. He should have to get rid of all of us the mulattos and not letting none of us near him and have certain high powers. The necklace's plan is a really good plan, Geffrard we love it and this plan will definitely make us succeed to dethrone Souloque and bring us back, the mulattos back to power  and  you general Geffrad will become the new ruler of Haiti, and Haiti will return to be ruled by us the mulattos something Souloque had taking away from us after we put him on power >>

  Fabre Geffrard shouts << To us back the mulattos the power and Haiti >>

       The next day, emperor Souloque says goodbye to his wife, his two daughters, his brother, and his nephew, the son of his brother whom the emperor choose to be the next king after he died. The emperor tells his army general Fabre Geffrard that he left him in charge of the empire << General of my army, Fabre Geffrard >>
