A small crack stood in the wall, hidden in the corner of the large cavern behind a pillar. The hole was just big enough for someone to slip through, widening after a little bit. There were many cracks like this all over the cave, however, this one was different. This one had been carved by somebody.

The hole was very deep, and had many tunnels leading to who knows where. Of course, these tunnels were not empty. A figure walked through these caves. He wasn't lost, though. The person had quick movement, and if you had strong hearing, you could hear the scratch of talons as the person walked, along with the slither of a scaly tail dragging behind on the cold stone floor.

Orange eyes with slitted pupils gave off a very faint glow, but it allowed you to see the green, lizard-like snout that replaced the nose of a human. Dino had been in here many times before. Of course he had. He'd made the place, after all. Things were coming together... Kind of. Dino let out a snort of irritation. Things would have been so much easier, so much faster... if it wasn't for that stupid bird.

Back on the day of the wedding, Dino had been in position, waiting for his moment to strike. He'd stood in the forested cliff to the left of the sandy hill where the wedding was being held. The trees gave him plenty of cover.

He hadn't been able to hear anybody talking, other than Laff, the priest, who'd stood in front of a microphone. "Then by the power invested in me, I announce you two husband and wife." It was quiet from the distance Dino stood at, but audible. He held a sniper, and brought it up to his eye, locking onto the target. However, the person he'd been shooting for wasn't Wiktoria. It wasn't Meme either.

Dino had been lightly pressing the trigger in anticipation. 'Three... Two... One...' And then, somehow in that exact moment, a bird flew into Dino's face. Dino fell back, shooting the bullet on accident. Memegod's scream could surprisingly be heard from Dino's position and he stood, fumbling with the gun as he tried to pick it back up.

Looking back over at the wedding, Dino could see Meme's figure crouched near Wiktoria, who was laying on the ground. He also thought he saw blood. 'Crap!' Dino had thought, taking a couple steps back. He hadn't meant for that to happen... 'Okay, plan B, then. Escape,' he'd thought, pulling a detonator out of his purple hoodie pocket. He'd clicked the button, dropped it, and ran. A few ticks later, Dino had heard a voice. However, he'd recognized this voice, unlike everyone else who'd been at the wedding that day.

"WELL WELL WELL, HAVING A WEDDING? ARE YOU HAVING FUN? WELL, THAT'S NICE! I'M GLAD YOU'RE HAVING A GREAT TIME!"

Dino had felt a shiver run down his spine. It sounded like the person speaking was standing next to him, talking into his ear... talking in his head... but these words couldn't be directed at him. He was sure of that.

"THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS THAT YOUR LIFE'S TURNING UPSIDE DOWN!"

Dino had stopped running for a tick to listen. 'What..?' his mind had whispered.

"I'D LIKE TO SHARE A REVELATION I'VE HAD DURING MY TIME HERE. IT CAME TO ME WHEN I TRIED TO CLASSIFY YOUR SPECIES AND I REALIZED HUMANS ARE NOT ACTUALLY MAMMALS. EVERY MAMMAL ON THIS PLANET INSTINCTIVELY DEVELOPS A NATURAL EQUILIBRIUM WITH THE SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT. BUT YOU HUMANS DO NOT. INSTEAD YOU MULTIPLY AND MULTIPLY UNTIL EVERY RESOURCE IS CONSUMED. BUT THE ONLY WAY FOR YOU TO SURVIVE IS FOR YOU TO SPREAD TO ANOTHER AREA. THERE'S ANOTHER ORGANISM ON THIS PLANET THAT FOLLOWS THE SAME PATTERN. A VIRUS."

'What is he talking about..?' Dino had never heard him say anything like this... He wasn't supposed to say anything like this.

"HUMAN BEINGS ARE A DISEASE, A CANCER ON THIS PLANET. A PLAGUE. AND WE ARE THE CURE. TODAY IS A DAY OF HISTORY. TODAY WILL BE REMEMBERED. YEARS FROM NOW, THE YOUNG WILL WONDER ABOUT THIS DAY. TODAY IS HISTORY, AND YOU ARE PART OF IT."

Dino had whipped around to look back at where the wedding had been held. Midday had quickly turned to night, like time had been sped forward somehow.

"LET THE GAMES BEGIN."

Dino had then seen the rockets he had launched as a get-away distraction come down and explode onto the village. Fire had quickly spread, and he could see his friends running down the sandy hill. 'I think I just made things worse... Oh heck, I need to get out of here!' Dino remembered thinking.

He'd turned and ran, faster than he had thought he could, straight to Blaza's base, where he had last talked to Blaza a couple hours ago about how he couldn't go to the wedding. Dino didn't look back as he ran.

Eventually, he had reached the base, and a little while after, Blaza had too, along with Socks, Laff, and Joocie. A lot had happened since then. Many things had gone horribly wrong, ruining a plan Dino had been thinking up for many days. But some things also went okay-ish, like the Gods were trying to balance out Dino's luck.

Back in the present, Dino now stood at the entrance of another larger cave he'd dug into the stone. Redstone wires laid across the cold, hard floor, and Dino went to sit in a chair he'd brought into the caves. He quietly thought about... Well, let's call this voice his old "acquaintance". Dino hadn't spoken with him ever since that moment, but things could change now... they had to change.

Now that Dino thought about it, he wasn't exactly a human. His acquaintance's threats really meant nothing much. Dino let out a little snort of amusement, but that was immediately shut down by the thought of his friend Woolf... Woolf, who'd been shot dead two days ago.

Anytime Dino found a quiet moment to himself, he was consumed by the thought of his friend's death. A sigh left his reptilian snout. 'Things happen... It's for the best. I need to stop thinking about him...' Dino sighed once more, then got up and headed to the makeshift bed he had in another cave not too far from here. 'It'll get better... Things will get better.'

{CHAPTER NOTES}

Summary: How things went during the wedding from Dino— shooter of the cow—'s perspective. We learn where he was and where he is now, as well as getting a little insight on his situation-ship with L4FF. (Word Count: 1073)

[NEW NOTE]: Not much to say this time around. And also, Past-Me lied— it really didn't take all that long to write this. I literally posted this on the same day that I posted the Info chapter. However, Past-Me also didn't know what they were getting themselves into and that it'd be a year until they made a new chapter. To them, this was a long time. OH BOY WERE THEY IN FOR A TREAT—

(Old Note): Hi! Okay, so this took a small while, and I didn't get everything I wanted to get in this chapter done, but hey, at least I got the chapter out! Anyways, this chapter summarizes all the details of how things had happened during the wedding, and lets you see a bit more into Dino's intents during the SMP (for my AU, but I think you already know that). (Word Count: 1064)
