'Braking it,' Woolf tapped to Muffin.

The duo had stayed next to the wall for who knows how long, and Muffin just wouldn't leave. Every time Woolf tried to pull him away from it, Muffin would either hold on like his life depended on it, or kick Woolf in the... you know where.

If the wall was gone, Muffin wouldn't have a reason to stay... Woolf didn't really have a reason to leave, though. It just seemed like the wall was useless, and Muffin was getting kind of attached to it. Muffin, Woolf's friend, being attached to an inanimate object. That was a funny phrase.

'Doesn't matter,' Woolf thought. 'We need to find a way out, not sit around for the rest of our lives... deaths? I don't even know anymore.'

'Plz dont,' Muffin tapped back. He tugged at Woolf's arm as the furry started kicking at the black wall. His efforts did nothing, so Woolf backed up until he was about four meters away, and then ran at the wall. He slammed his shoulder into it, and heard a loud 'Crack!' echo through the dark space he stood in... And then he started to fall.

Woolf felt Muffin grab his arm, but it only dragged the child down with him. Suddenly, everything was bright. Woolf could hear Muffin's scream mix with his own as the duo fell through blue and white... Fell from the sky?

Muffin clutched onto Woolf's legs, and after a few moments, Woolf felt himself crashing down through a forest's canopy. When he hit the ground, there was a loud snap, like someone had just rage quit and broken their keyboard in half.

Pain spread up through Woolf's leg, and he made a quiet whimpering sound. Woolf had closed his eyes out of fear while he'd fallen, and he now opened them to see that he'd landed on top of Muffin, his leg caught underneath his friend's arm. The furry tried to scramble off of him, but it only made the pain worse.

"Stop," Muffin whispered. It was good to hear him speak again.

Woolf winced as Muffin carefully slid out from under him. The fourteen year old stood, seemingly unharmed by the fall. Which made sense.

Muffin was kind of squishy, which was a bit weird, but for their friend group, it was actually quite normal. He'd probably cushioned Woolf's fall, and saved Woolf from getting hurt even worse.

"I think my leg's broken," Woolf rasped out quietly.

"Can you stand?"

Woolf looked up into his friend's eyes. They were a bit terrified, as he was probably still recovering from the distance they'd fallen.

"Can you help me?" Woolf asked.

Muffin nodded, grabbing the furry's arm and pulling him up. Woolf tried putting pressure on his leg, but winced again as the pain strengthened.

"Okay, okay, don't do that," Muffin yelped, panic threaded through his voice as he stumbled under Woolf's weight.

A twig snapped somewhere in the distance.

"Hello?" someone called.

Woolf froze, his head snapping around to where the new voice had come from. Muffin didn't react, since his hearing wasn't as strong as Woolf's, and probably didn't pick up the sound.

"Be quiet," Woolf whispered, clutching his friend's shoulder.

Loud crashing sounded nearby as somebody ran through the forest towards the duo. Woolf felt Muffin tense, the noise now having reached his hearing range. An orange hooded man suddenly burst out of the bushes, rainbow socks being dragged out after him. The duo froze as their eyes landed on Woolf and Muffin.

"W- Woolf?" Socks stuttered.

Blaza let go of Socks' hand, speeding forward and pulling Woolf into a tight hug.

"I thought you guys died."

|—o–O–o—|

After a lot of hugging and a couple of tears from the fourteen year old, Blaza and Socks had explained what had happened after Laff had shot Woolf and Muffin. The once dead duo then told the others about their experience in... Wherever that place was.

Now, they were all walking slowly through the forest, as Woolf's broken leg was slowing them all down. Apparently, the group had moved to the tree covered area to get away from the heat of the desert, and to look for Meme and Nadwe, who'd gone missing after meteors had crashed down into the old base.

"Nowhere," Blaza suddenly said.

"What?" Woolf questioned, turning to look at him.

"We'll call it 'Nowhere'. There's nothing there, other than darkness, and it seems lonely, the way you explained it. Like it wants you to feel alone... That's a common fear of people— losing those close to you. I couldn't imagine getting stuck there, all by myself, without you guys," he explained.

"Agreed. Plus, you weren't really... Well, here, either. It also doesn't sound like another dimension, although the wall does seem like a portal-type thing," Socks added.

"... Okay, yeah, that makes sense," Woolf said.

Nowhere. The dark place you go when you die. Yeah, that was pretty accurate. 'You're nothing there. Just a random nobody floating in the blackness,' Woolf thought.

"Stay here," Socks suddenly said. He then proceeded to walk around a tree with a particularly thick trunk, Blaza following.

"Hey guys! Did you find anyone?" Woolf heard Oof ask.

"Actually, we did," Blaza said. "Just, don't freak out. Come out, guys!"

Woolf peaked around the tree's trunk, then, with Muffin's support, walked into the clearing ahead of him. Tbh was sitting next to a log, his mouth hanging open in disbelief. Oof stood next to Blaza, also staring, however his gaze was more directed at Muffin.

"Okay, maybe Laff Loafs do have something in them, because I ate some earlier, and I think I'm seeing things," Tbh said, blinking continuously.

"Hey guys... We're back from our vacation," Muffin said with a nervous chuckle.

Oof looked like he was going to cry. Then he did.

"But I saw your bodies! Y- you were dead!" he yelped.

Woolf blinked, trying to think of a response. "Well... Not anymore."

(Word Count: 1006)

[NEW NOTE]: My motivation literally didn't come back, if I'm remembering correctly. I'm pretty sure I just forced myself to keep writing because I wanted to put more parts of my idea out into the world. It often happens that I don't want to do something but the moment I actually sit down and force myself to do it, I get it done very easily. That's just how it is for some people. Procrastinating exists, and it sucks. Just do your best to stay happy and healthy while you get your stuff done.

(Old Note): Heyyyyy! So my motivation just died for literally no reason, but I'm back now! Not much to say, other than the fact that I could've gotten this out two days ago if I wasn't so lazy and had just thought of a bit more dialog, but yeah! Chapter summary: Woolf breaks the wall and him and Edible fall from the sky. They end up in the same forest the rest of the gang is in, and Woolf breaks his leg (stop breaking everything Woolf-). He also makes some ✨beautiful, high quality✨ furry noises. (Word Count: 986)
