"are you ready peter?" you asked, grabbing the rainbow bag that had all of your belonging's for the beach. peter coming out with a small smile on his face and hiding something behind his back, trying to contain his smile but failing 

"what are those?" you asked trying to see what was behind his back as he pulled out these small little flamingo floaties, he seemed very excited when he showed them to you like he had been hiding them from you just to show them too you for this special moment.    

"aw ! that's so cute peter. i love those for you." you stated as you watched his face immediately scrunch up and turn red, grabbing your arm before you could turn around.

"these are for you!" he stated as you smiled, cupping the small little flamingos in your hands and looking at them intently before stuffing them into the rainbow bag. you where excited to go to the beach mostly to see if you can convince peter to go near the water.. unlike last time.

flashback

"peter the water cant kill you your fine!" you exclaimed to a peter who was curled up in a ball on the sand, you had been sitting here trying to convince him for the past two minutes.   

"you don't know that!" he argued back, as you grabbed the small bucket that was in the sand next to you, you filled it up to the rim with water looking at an unsuspecting peter.

a few seconds later you threw the bucket of water onto him, and let's just say he didn't like it.. at all.

long story short, he was utterly freaked out by the ocean water and walked to the car without you which forced you to be the one to pick up all the stuff and take it to the car with no help. he also refused to drive home so you had to drive home in the dark even though you suck at driving, once the two of you got home he forced you to sleep on the couch.

"are you ready to swimm?" you purred as peter jumped softly, he looked shocked and you assumed it was the word swim. you never knew why peter hated the water so much, and you where scared to ask to be honest. 

"swim?" he nervously chuckled, fidgeting with his hands. before grabbing his beach bag and opening the door for you, once the two of you got to the car you realized something.

"your not gonna get mad at me and force me to take this back to the car right?" you asked as peter laughed before nodding. patting your head before helping you close the trunk, opening th the door for you once again.

"wait! don't forget your sunscreen! come back!!" he stated, chasing you with sunscreen in your hand, abandoning you after you made it in the water. looking back at the set up you two had just finished and you in the water, you decided to tease him since he definitely wasn't getting in the water. 

"oh noo i can feel the sun burning me peter!" you stated dramatically watching peter stare at you with a menacing look, you didn't care since you where in the safety of the water. 

meanwhile peter was debating if he wanted to walk into the water and grab you, or let you get a sunburn. he cared about you to much to do that, he noticed you  was just wading in the water.

"aren't you going to save m-"  you where cut off by peter charging into the water, with the same menacing face. he grabbed you swiftly and threw you over his shoulder before walking out the water. 

"peter! you got in the water!" you celebrated as he rolled his eyes, gently putting you down on the towel and letting you put the sunscreen on yourself.

"your not leaving until you put it on." he stated, watching you like a small child who could dart away at any second. you put the sunscreen on every inch of your exposed body before putting to globs on your face in the shape of hearts. 

"give me the floaties." you stated as he shook his head softly laughing to himself in disbelief, as you put the floaties on you stared at water. 

"are you gonna get in?" you asked him as he shook his head, as you sighed lightly kissing his forehead. for the rest of the trip he watched you play in the water and collect shells, you know that one day you will get peter in the water.. one day..
