𝗨𝗡𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 • 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗕𝗢𝗬𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗗 𝗚𝗔𝗠𝗘

𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 + 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘀 = 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀

• you dragged peter in the pet store, you were looking for a halloween costume for his pet snake named rat. peter thought it was dumb but he was a little bit interested what halloween costumes looked like for snakes, but he got extremely distracted when he saw a big table with a sign "adopt one today." it was like he gravitated to it, while you roamed the shelfs peter sat in the big play pen being licked by kittens. you only realized he was gone when your cart wasn't behind you anymore, you decide to walk to the front of the store to see if you could seek him out. 

• that's when you saw him, with the widest smile you ever saw in your life. you rolled your cart over to the side of the play pen.. peter didn't even notice you it was like he was in cat mode or something. he only noticed you when you decided to join him, he lit up when he saw you playing with the kittens as well.. out of no where he blurted out "i want this one." he was referring to small orange ragdoll kitten he was holding up to his face.

"you really want that one huh?" you teased, softly stroking the small white kitten that sat in your lap purring. peter admiring the tiny cat like he had never seen one like it before, he was in pure bliss.

"please y/n look at his little face.." he stated holding him up to you, kissing the cats head gently before it started purring. peter thought he broke it for a second but then remembered that that was a good thing. 

"he likes me! see its meant to be." he exclaimed holding the cat to his chest, you couldn't help but laugh lightly. 

"can we please get em?" he begged, looking like he was gonna cry if you said no. instead you said nothing instead, you just stood up walked out of the play pen and started walking away with the cart. 

"where are you going?" peter's face furrowed, standing up as well but not leaving the play pen. the small cat still in his hands as he called after you. 

"to go get peanut some food bowls." you stated casually as you heard his excitement, before hearing his apparent confusion. 

"you already named him?!" he yelled as you laughed under your breath heading to the pet essentials isle. you and peter where about have a cat, wasn't gonna be the easy but it was gonna be fun doing it with peter. 

A/N : i had a dream about this and i jumped out of bed and wrote down most imortant parts, peter haunts my dream tbh.
