Delilah walked into her dorm ignoring the giggling girls and the obnoxious amount of perfume being sprayed into the once fresh air. She went to her bed and took off her shoes and coat before sitting against the headboard and looking around the room.

Alice was getting ready to leave with Frank. They were celebrating alone, coming to the party later. Marlene was going into the bathroom getting ready to take a shower. And Lily sat in her bed reading.

Delilah had been working on forgiving herself and others in order to get better. She had talked to many people and planned on talking to more. And as the school year started to come to an end there was only one person she had to talk to. The one she had been dreading.

"Lily can we talk?" The red head looked up from her book, nodding and walking over to the girl. Her nerves were evident in the way her hands shook and she bit her lip.

"I'm sorry." Both girls began.

"You have nothing to be sorry for Lilah. I was a shitty friend." Lily took a deep breath thinking about what to say next. "I used you to make myself feel better. Instead of helping you, I used you because I wanted to feel better. My sister hated me, my parents praised me but expected too much and I tried to give all I could and I did. I gave everything I had to please others and then when I saw you were the same way, I took all I could get from you because I was selfish."

"I get it. Being drained and needing someone there to give. I understand why you did it. I just wish we did it in better ways."

"Me too."

"I love you Lils I do and you will always be my best friend but I think this summer we both need space and we need to really decide if we want to be friends or not."

"I get it. Can I still owl you?" She asked with a small smile. "I know I never actually had but I'd love to, really."

"Sure, yeah, I'd like that."

The two girls gave each other a small smile and then got ready alongside Marlene for the party. Their friendship had been strained for a long time but it was getting better.

Delilah had walked down the stairs with her weed bag and for once, a positive attitude. She sat at the group of chairs were the marauders always sat and opened the window. She had come early to roll up all her joints ending up with 20. Her brother would be proud.

More people came down going straight to drinks and Delilah even sold some of the many joints she had previously had. She should have been selling for ages now after knowing how much money she made.

Two joints and three bottles of fire whiskey in and every one from her group came from the stairs and through the portrait hole.

Remus chuckled at her red eyes and the empty bottles around her.

"Remus!" The girl shouted over the music. "I made joints for us because we are the loopy Lupins and when your high your loopy... I think."

Everyone chuckled at the girl and Remus took a few joints.

"Fuck De, there was enough for 20 joints and there's only five left!"

"I became a drug dealer... shhh!" The girl placed her finger over her mouth and laughed at the feeling. "This is only my third and last joint but I think I'm on my fourth or fifth drink."

The others caught up to the girl fast leaving a sober Frank and Alice to take care of everyone when they came through the door.

Delilah was sitting on James's lap after he got jealous too many times from other boys looking at the girl and even the one seventh year who came over and tried to dance with her but James pulled her on his lap and said 'she's mine.'

"We should play truth or dare!" Sirius called and everyone agreed. "James, truth or dare?"

"Dare."

Sirius smirked, "kiss the most gorgeous person in the room."

James didn't hesitate to kiss Delilah and she kissed back immediately until Remus pulled them apart and took her away from him.

"Oh, Moony, why?" James grumbled.

"No fucking my sister until your married."

"But I've already fucked him."

James looked at her like he was trying to remember and Remus looked angry. He got very protective when he was drunk.

"I'm only joking. Jeez, no wonder Pete's my favourite."

"Damn rights."

The night went on with more dares, ending them up in the lake and in the kitchens and truths exposing all of their dirty secrets that would be forgotten in the morning. And all the friends ended up in the marauders room.

Peter and Zoey together, Sirius and Remus together, Lily and Marlene together, sharing Remus's bed, Delilah was in James's bed and Alice and Frank slept on the window ledge that was surprisingly comfortable.

But it was the best ending to end the fun of sixth year. All that was left was exams and then summer. And summer seemed to be something they were all waiting for.
