Chapter 2 -Mason Lockwood
Later that night I was walking back to where I parked my car in front of the school, when I heard footsteps behind me. I stopped and turned to see no one there. I started walking again and pulled my keys out of my pocket as I reached my car. I was about to open the door when I heard a voice say" for a girl who has so much freedom, your a real scaredy pup" I jumped and spun around." Mason Lockwood, you nearly gave me a heart attack " I snapped and he started laughing." sorry Thia but you should have seen your face" he laughed and I hit him in the arm.
I had met Mason two years ago, when I moved to florida. He had shown me how to surf, which was fun and I told him what I was. In return he helped me and told me his secret as well.
" look I'm sorry alright, let me make it up to you" I raised an eyebrow.
" what do you have planned" I asked and he smiled" follow me and I'll show you". He got in the driver seat of my car and I gave him the keys before getting in. We drove to the Grill and I followed him over to a poll table." Your making it up to me by beating me at poll?" He shrugged.
" just one game, I'll even let you win" he bribed holding out the stick thing( I don't know what its called). I rolled my eyes and took it from him with a smirk. One unfair game later, he bought me a drink and we talked about old times. He was just telling me a story about when he was in Florida when a kid with black hair walked over to us." Tyler, I like you meet Cynthia Greystone, she's an old friend of mine"
He nodded and I smiled" nice to meet you" I greeted and my phone went off. I checked it and gasped" I....I have to go" I mumbled before running from the Grill. I got in my car and drove home, I got there just as I felt my wrist break. I cried out in pain but ignored it running into the basement. I locked myself in and chimed myself up. I wasn't like other wolves, instead of just on full moons, I changed every night.
It was midnight before I finally passed out.
