Chapter 8

"Let's go hiking they said, it'll be fun they said" I muttered while Sam was carrying me to the car. Sam just chuckled and smiled. Finally we made it to the car. Skate opened the door for Sam and Sam put me down. "Does it hurt" Skate asked before he started the car. "No Skate it doesn't hurt" I replied sarcastically. He put his hands up in surrender and started the car. We drove off to the hospital listening to Bob Marley because his music always calms me down. "We're here" Sam said getting out the car. I was about to open the door when all of a sudden Sam opens it for me and picks me up bridal style again. "You know if you keep carrying me then your arms are go fall off" I say looking up at Sam. He just chuckles and shakes his head. "Hi um my sister twisted her ankle and now she can't walk" Skate said to the lady behind the desk. "Can I have the patience name so the doctor can call her" she said waiting for one of us to answer. "Daniela Blue Maloley" Skate answered for me. "Ok go to take a seat the doctor will be with you shortly" she said nicely. We went to go take a seat. "You want anything to drink or anything" Skate said with a small smile. "An ice coffee from McDonalds" I said with a big cheesy grin. "It's like 2" Sam said and I saw Skate give him the 'you shouldn't have said that face'. "I didn't know there was a law saying that I DANNY MALOLEY COULDNT DRINK COFFE AT 2 IN THE AFTERNOON" I preached. Right after I finished a doctor came out, "Daniela Blue Maloley". "That's me" I yelled waving my hand in the air as if he was miles away. "Get. Me. My. Coffee." I ordered pausing after every word. Skate saluted as was going to the elevator. "Help"I said with the tiniest voice towards Sam. He helped me up and he carried me bridal style again. Might as well marry the kid am I right. "Can I get a wheel chair" the doctor asked a nurse. "Your girlfriend will be out of your arms shortly"the doctor said with a smile. My cheeks flushed and i immediately stated, "I'm not his girlfriend". "Well you should he seems like he cares a lot for you" he said when the nurse came with the wheel chair. Sam set down on the chair and gave me small smile. The doctor rolls me into a a room with pale blue walls. "Ok so Miss Maloley nothing seems to be broke so just rest and ice your ankle" he said inspecting my foot. "Maybe watch some movies relax stay in bed" the doctor said writing something down on a clipboard. "Ok well a nurse shall be here to wrap your leg and give you crutches" the doctor said leaving. I nod my head and it's just me and Sam in the room. "Do you hate me" Sam asks. I lift my head up and look at him to see him looking at me. "Why would I hate you" I ask with a small chuckle. He just shrugs and keeps looking at me. "I don't hate you I like you very mucho" I say with a big stupid grin. I felt so stupid but then he smiled the same way so I felt better. After the nurse came in and wrapped my leg and gave me my crutches I walked back into the waiting room with Sammy to see Nate waiting for me with my coffee and candy. He looks up from his phone and sees me. He quickly get all the stuff and walks towards us. "Who has the best big brother ever" I say taking my coffee out of his hands. After we drive back home I go upstairs and start watching Teen Wolf on my laptop because it's an awesome show with a bunch of hot guys. I was eating all the candy Skate bought me. I had everything scattered on the bed. "Mind if I join you Skate went somewhere" Sam's voice said from my doorway. I smiled and nodded.
