"You knew" I said harshly glaring at Nate. "Wait if they didn't tell you how did you find out" he said ignoring me completely. "You knew so why didn't you tell me" I yelled frustrated running my hands through my hair. "It's not in my place to tell you" he said staring into my eyes with sadness and pity towards me. "You my big brother you do have a right to tell me but you decided not to" I said harshly staring at him with a hard cold glare. "How did you find out" he said pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. "This" I said angrily throwing the file at him. "Wait never mind I still need them" I said quickly rushing towards him getting the papers. "Look let's have a talk with mom and dad tonight and solve all of this later right now let's just go out for ice cream" he said with a big FAKE smile. "No I don't want to get ice cream I want to know why they didn't tell me and why they gave me up" I yelled looking at him as if he was crazy. He looked down at the floor avoiding eye contact with me. "I'm calling mom and dad" I said furious. I grabbed my phone and called my mom and dad. After telling them to come home and that it was an emergency I was pacing the room once again. "Stop pacing it's making me dizzy" Nate said sitting down on my bed. "Shut up" I muttered and sat down criss-cross on the floor. "Hey I know you mad, but you have to keep your temper under control" he said trying to calm me, although he was making it worse. "Give me a pillow now" I demanded and he did as he was told. I grabbed the pillow and buried my face into it and screamed. It sounded muffled because of the pillow. After a while of dead angry silence my parents came home.

"I want to meet her" I said crossing my arms over my chest. "Who Julia no no your not" my mom said getting up from her chair. We were in the kitchen now. "Yes I want answers" I said slamming my hands down the counter but keeping my voice as calm as it could be. "NO DANIELA BLUE MALOLEY YOUR ARE NOT MEETING THAT WOMAN" my dad yelled copying my actions. "YES. I. AM. Whether you like it or not" I said slowing and harshly. "We forbid you" my mom said crossing her arms over my chest. "Why why can't I meet her" I said quickly. "Danny just forget why is it so important to you" Nate said wrapping his arms around my shoulders in a way try to comfort me. I pulled away from his side hug and looked at everyone then at the floor. "I wanna know why she left why I wasn't good enough for her" I said lowly staring at the floor. "Honey trust us it's for your own good you can't meet her" my mom finalized. I sighed coming up with a plan in my head. "Fine" I sighed out going back upstairs to my room. I showered and changed into sweats and a tshirt. I threw my hair in a messy bun and locked my door. I went threw the files and found that there was no fathers name. I found a number for the adoption agency. I called them and they gave me Julia's work number. I wrote it down and called them. She work at a law firm. They told me the address of the law firm after I told them I was getting a 'divorce'. I went into Nate's room to find him knocked out sleeping. I slapped his shoulder to wake him up. He slowly woke up not even phased. "Hey what are you doing" he asked with a tired smile sitting up. "Help me meet Julia" I said quickly going he would say yes. "No" he said so nonchalant. "What why" I asked shocked of his answer. "I don't think you need a reason" he said simply and he lauded back down. "Ugh I hate you" I screeched and went back to my room.

-Nate's POV-
I slowly woke up to a hard slap on my shoulder. I opened my eyes to reveal Danny. "Hey what are you doing" I said giving her a tired sweet smile sitting up. "Help me meet Julia" she said quickly. I didn't want her to meet her my parents told me what she told them when she chose them to adopt her and it made me furious. "No" I said simply going back to sleep. "What why" she said with pure shock in her tone. "I don't think you need a reason" I said laying back down. "Ugh I hate you" she screeched and she left my room. Those words. She has never said them to me before. Not when I accidentally killed her hamster. Not when I pushed her off her bike. Not when I scared all her boyfriends. Never. Those words hurt me. My heart pierced with pain when she said them.
