THE TRUTH WON'T SET YOU FREE

❝Ren sweetie, wake up.❞
a gentle voice spoken.

I opens my eyes and the first thing that I saw is mom. She's sitting on the driver's sit beside me. *sighs* I guess I fall asleep. I look outside and saw the sky...it was dark. It means it's already night?

❝Mom, what time is it?❞ I asked while putting myself up.

❝7 at night. You've been sleeping since the afternoon. That's way too long, you have a good rest aren't you?❞ mom replied and gently laughs.

Oh- that's long, I'm not aware of that.
I guess I fall asleep too deep enough making me not to notice it.

❝Any news about my sister?❞

Mom deeply breaths and shows me a face of disappointed.
❝The cops didn't find any. All the footage from the other buildings are containing the same contents. Your sister just vanished like a smoke.
It's really strange and mysterious.❞

That gives me a lot of questions in my mind. How can she be nowhere out if sight after that? Did she turned into a ghost? Is she... Still really alive?
What if someone killed her and she's just trying to lead us into the place where she is right now? Where her body is located? But... my instincts are telling me that she's still alive. I can feel it. And those clues that she left, that actions that she do... I know she's really up to something. She might be plotting something.

❝Mom, how can different CCTVs placed in different areas, taking videos in different angles are having a same footage? None of it seen where did she go and how did she disappeared?❞

❝I don't know either, Ren. I can't understand what's going on.
This is like a mysterious events for us but wherever your sister is, we will still find her. She's my daughter, if she's not dead then maybe something bad is happening to her. I need to see my daughter and save her out from misery.❞

Our Mother is so determined to see her. I can't lose hope knowing that Mom is acting on to this.
We will keep on searching till we see her again. Akahe, whatever you're planning to do, I swear it'll be up to no good.

We will proceed no matter what happens, she'll go home with us.

It's already midnight again but Mom and I aren't still giving up.
We never go home anymore because we're still continuously looking for her.

We rented a room at a motel so we can have a place just to take our rest and spend the whole night.

Mom and I already contacted every single person who knows my sister. Her classmates and friends and so on but we still got no clue about her disappearance. There's still no answer to our questions.

I sat down at the bed and opened my phone, it was already 12:04 am.
Then there's Mom, looking blankly outside the window.

❝Mom, what's wrong?❞ I sincerely asked.

But she didn't answer me.
I tried to ask her again but she's not responding. Maybe she's thinking deeply right now.
There was a great silence between the two of us.

Then after a few minutes, Mom sighs and looks at me. She then speaks, ❝Please be safe when I'm gone❞

Huh? Gone? Her? How...
Wait a minute... I remembered something.
Her words recently flashes back into my mind again. Is she having another episode of Deja Vu? But no, she can't be gone! How can I live without my mother? This is freaking me out.

I raised both of my eyebrows as I went very confused by her words.
❝Huh? What do you mean mom?❞

She suddenly turns her back against me and coldly answers.
❝Ren, let's split ways.
I'll find your sister in a different way without you. You, do your best to look for her in a different way without me.❞
