After discussing how Abraxas had helped out with our safety, he accompanied us back to the Slytherin commons.

We sat on the black, leather couch nearest the fire. Tom had insisted on bringing Juniper down, and none of the few other Slytherin's here seemed to care about the snake that wasn't allowed on school grounds.

Abraxas was immediately immersed with him, though he couldn't speak Parseltongue like Tom and I. Juniper didn't seem to mind him either.

"Tooomm??" Abe asked with a whiny tone.

"What."

"My dorm is so miserable and cold and my roommates are boring, can I stay with-"

"No."

"Awhh why not!!?" The blonde seemed almost petrified at Tom's reply, even though it was expected.

"Tom you're so cruell" I stared at him, and he stared back for a few seconds, pondering.

"Fine" he grumbled.

"Yay! Thank you Tommy!!" Abe cheered.

Tom sent him an alarmingly aggressive look.

"Don't call me that" He growled towards Abe.

"Jeez, sorry."

We hung out in the commons for a while, listening to the fire crackling, as every sound echoed around the room, the underwater ambience filling our ears with the bubble sounds, as the sun set, casting especially bright  colourful hues into the large room.

The smell of damp earth clung to my nose, though it wasn't bad, it was actually a surprisingly pleasant scent.

Despite the huge burning fire crackling right in front of us, the room began to grow cold. And so did I.

"Can we go? It's cold" I complained.

Tom looked over to me, and gave a soft nod as he stood up, pulling me with him. Abraxas passed me Juniper before standing too.

Abe followed us up through the painting. I assume he's been here before as he casually flopped down onto the massive bed, burying his face into the smooth pillows.

I set Juniper onto the carved post of the bedhead. He immediately made himself at home as he slithered into what he thought of as a comfortable position, I'd brought back a chicken tender for him, and he'd eaten it earlier.

I crouched down to remove my shoes, Tom doing the same after. I ushered Abe to move over and gladly buried myself under the heavy blankets.

Tom and I layed facing each other after I'd accepted Abe's warm embrace, his arms wrapped around me. I didn't even find it inappropriate, I was too tired to care.

And within no time, I'm sure we'd all fallen into the arms of sleep.

"Y/n. Y/n." The voice kept repeating.

"Y/n. Y/n. Y/n. Y/n." Until I got sick of it.

"Y/n. Y/n. Y/-" I sat up and slapped the closes thing to it.

"WHAT THE HELL" Came another voice. I rubbed my eyes, feeling myself be steadied at the back and hearing someone sniggering quietly. Then I noticed the weight on my wrist.

I looked up to Tom, who held an annoyed expression as he reluctantly and impatiently held up his hand with mine, waiting for me to finish using it.

"UGHH" I groaned, attempting to lay back down, yet being stopped by the hand at my back. I look over to see Abraxas, sitting with somewhat an amused expression. I look away from them both and instead out the window into the depths of the lake.
