One night when you came home you saw that he wasn't home and everything was dark
You looked around and saw notes
"Go outside" and then on the ground. "Turn left". Note after note gave you directions to go to and that lead to you seeing a wisteria tree and beautiful lit candles around
There was Tanjiro his back facing you holding several flowers
"Ah (name) you're here" He said staring at you in awe
"Yes heh, I'm here. What's all this?" You asked
He walked towards you grabbing your hands holding the flowers in your hand
"I have liked you" You paused for a bit
"I have liked you more than a friend. A best friend even. I want it to take it a step further" You thought about what you were gonna say and made a slight thinking face. Tanjiro thought you were hesitant and might reject him
"If you don't want too I can wait. I will wait forever, to the ends of earth! If you don't feel the same at all that's really okay! We can stay as friends and if you regret it I will always be here for you" He smiled and you smiled back
"I like you too" When Tanjiro heard those words he looked like he was gonna cry. Ok nvm he did cry
He hugged you tightly and cried tears of happiness
