06 - I remember

She sat up breathing heavily. She felt cold, her body was frozen. Suddenly she felt some warm arms embrace her and she hugged back. She cried on his arms. It was terrifying. She held onto him tight and let everything out

"Shh, It's ok baby, I'm here with you now" he said caressing her silk hair and kissing her head trying to calm her down. Once her breath calmed down she pulled away and he helped her stand up

"What happened?" She asked him and he frowned

"I don't know, you were gone for too long so I came to search for you and found you lying here" he said making her frown

"I don't remember, I saw something, It was scary but I can't remember" she held her head. She didn't remeber what she saw just now but she knows she saw something terrible. Her heart says that she saw something but she doesn't remember

"Hey, hey it's ok, you will remember it...you need some rest" he said and she nodded

"Thank you" she said and bowed at him. They walked out of the temple and Hoseok immediately Joined them

"Julie you are bleeding" he said and gave her a napkin. She immediately touched her head and hissed when she touched the wound

"What, it wasn't there before" Jimin immediately turned her around and took the napking from her. He slowly kept it on her head. She took the napking from his hand and moved away

"Thank you for helping Jimin, I have to leave now" she bowed at both of them and walked towards her car. She got in and let out a sigh

She turned the engine on and drove to her moms place so she could clear her mind and think about the case

The house was old but still in a good condition or so she thought. She put the key in and turned it over but then the lock removed and fell on the floor

"What the-" she picked the lock and opened the door of the house. She searched for the lights on the wall and pressed it. The lights turned on and the living room lightened up. She coughed a little because there was so much dust. She hasn't been here since six months and the hoise is definitely not in a good condition. If her mother was alive she would have smacked her head

She dropped her bag on the couch and the dust on the couch started going crazy making her sneeze. She sneezed twice and held her nose because she didn't want to sneeze again. She walked towards the kitchen and turned the lights on. She opened the backdoor and entered the dirty garden 

"I have a lot of cleaning to do" she said and tied her hair into a bun. She started her mission in cleaning the house. She removed her coat and went inside. She dropped the coat on a chair and grabbed a broom and a duster

And then she started cleaning from her the living room. She wore a mask so she wouldn't fall sick because of the dust. It took her alot of time to clean the house

She was dusting the couch when the door suddenly open and someone fell on the floor. She stopped her work and stared at the body on the floor

"Agh, my face" he slowly stood up making her chuckle at his clumsiness

"Hello, eric" she said and continued working

"What happened to your door?" Eric asked standing up and dusting his clothes

"The lock broke, have to fix it before night" she said and carried the dirt bag and walked out of the house to throw them out. Eric followed her out of the house

"I knew you would come back" he said and smile making her give a small smile too. Eric was her noisy but fun neighbor

"Oh yh, I didn't find a neighbor like you back in seoul" she said making him give a proud smile

"No one is like me" he said with swag making her laugh "so do you need help in cleaning? I can help you fix the lock. I have a extra one at home" he said pointing at his house

"Yes please" she said and eric immediately ran towards his house. Eric and Julie grew up together in this area. They knew eachother since they were little and their friendship is stronger than anything

She walked back to her house which was now clean and tidy. She carried her bag towards her room and droped it on the floor. She opened her wardrobe and stuffed her clothes in. She had to take a wash. She knew eric would do the work so she walked to the washroom 

She stepped out of her dirty clothes and stood under the shower. She opened it and the warm water hit her making her let out a sigh. She was lost in thoughts. She doesn't remember what happened back in the temple, she want to but she can't 

After she was done she wore some comfy dress and walked to the hall and there was Eric with some bood on the table. She smiled and walked towards him. He saw her coming and smiled at her

"Bought some food for us, You look tired I knew you wouldn't cook anything" he said and she thanked him

"So are you here for the case?" He asked and she nodded

"Is it bad?" He asked making her look at him with a frown

"Didn't it go on the news?" She asked and he nodded

"They didn't give too much info, only that there were five bodies found in that place" he said making her go '⁰'

"Yeah, the case is terrible" she said taking a big bite from her food "I have to interview the kids this evening, before that I want to get some sleep" she said making him nod

"Now that you are here, after work do you want to Join me in the club?" He asked

"You know that I don't drink right?" She asked and he nodded

"Nah, just to talk" he said 

"Not today bro, i think i won't sleep tonight" she said making him pout "let's hang out on another day" she said and he nodded understanding her situation

After brunch Eric bid her goodbye and left her place. She locked her door and walked into her room. She was tired and she wanted rest. She jumped onto her bed and covered herself with a blanket. She closed her eys and waited till she fell aleep but she couldn't. She twisted and turned to find the right position but she couldn't

She sat up frustrated and let out a big sigh, she glanced at the nightstand and picked the file on it. It was the case file. She opened it and started going through the papers. The incidents they witnessed were well detailed. Ofcourse it was Hoseok who made the file so it would be perfect

She picked the pictures that had been captured and looked at them. The first pucture was three trails of blood on the road, she looked at the next one and it was the river and the body which was found in it. Suddenly she saw some flashbacks of something. She closed her eyes and took in deep breaths

Then she saw a kid in a room drenched in water. She was getting flashbacks of her dream back in the temple. She opened her eyes and gulped her saliva. She moved onto the next pic it was the broken window. Suddenly she saw her self falling off the window

She quickly moved onto the next pic and it was the three bodies which were found dead in the temple, she remembered a grandfather with three sticks through his neck. She closed her eyes and took deep breaths in because her heart was beating rapidly

She looked at the next picture, It was the girl who fell down the stairs, she remembered the whole dream. She closed the file and covered her mouth with her hand. This wasn't a normal case and she knew it. Something was wrong with the house, it was not a person who killed the kids

It was the spirits that lived in the house. They were filled with grudges. Suddenly she heard a glass break in the kitchen. She quickly grabbed her gun from the drawer and slowly walked towards the kitchen. The lights were off but the sunlight coming through the windows were enough to see

She slowly walked towards the kitchen and saw a broken glass on the floor. She looked at the surrounding but there was no one. She turned around and suddenly she felt someone behind her. The atmosphere started turning cold that when she let out a breath she could see the white cloud forming from her mouth

She slowly turned around and met with it, it wore a torn dress and it looked like it was stinking. The ghost slowly looked at Julie through his hair and Julie stood still looking at it

"Mom"
