"Knew you would be here" Hoseok walked into his office and dropped his bag on the chair and stretched his limbs "agh, I had a good lunch with Yoongs" he said and cracked his knuckles. He frowned when he got no response from the girl standing infront of the board "Julie?" He called her and walked towards her
"Julie?" He tapped her shoulder and she broke from her trance
"Ha?" She asked looking at him with her eyebrows up and lips parted
"Are you okay? You look pale" he asked looking at her worried
"Yah, I-I J-Just...ummm.....who are they?" She asked pointing at the picture of the old couple that was pinned on the wall
"Oh they are the old chang couple living in a lonely road. They were found dead three days ago. Their children informed us. They were some ungrateful brats, their parents just died but they started fighting for the properties" he said making Julie chuckle. She laughed scaring hoseok
"Hey are you okay?" He asked. She turned towards the wall and hit her head on it and fell on the floor while laughing and then she started crying scaring the shit out of hoseok "yo, you are scaring me are you okay?" He asked while shaking her
"Why does it happen to me? I just met the dead couple today morning while coming to Busan. They even offered me tea" she cried a lot more burying her head in her hands
"What are you talking about girl? Do I have to call someone? Are you in pain?" He asked but she suddenly stopped crying and stood up startling Hoseok
"No I'm okay, this is a normal thing, things like this happen, don't overreact Lim Ju-kyung, You are a strong woman" she said and walked towards the chair and sat on it. Hoseok stared at her confused. what the hell just happened?
"Aren't we going to interrogate the kids? It's almost time, lets go" she said and excited the room leaving a dumbfounded man behind

They parked their car infront of a beautiful house. The place looked luxurious. Julie walked in with Jimin, Hoseok and Yoongi behind her. She rang the bell and waited till someone opens the gate. the gates opened automatically startling them
They looked at eachother and walked past the beautiful garden. They walked towards the door and a person opened the door. All four of them bowed at the man who they thought was one of the people who works here
"Good evening, little master and his friend is waiting for you in the hall" the man said inviting them in. They removed their coats and hanged it. Unlike the outside of the garden, which looked lively the inside of the house looked pale
The house looked beautiful but it looked like no one lived here. The curtains were closed and no sunlight came into the house. The lights were dimly lit which gave a creepy vibe "why are the curtains closed?" Yoongi asked the worker who was leading them towards the hall
"Little master prohibited us from opening it, after the incident he locked himself in his room and cut ties with people, he would rarely talk to his parents who live in Tokyo, we are really worried about him sir" the man said with a hint of sadness in his voice
They entered the living room and looked at the two kids who were sitting on the couch with blankets wrapped around themselves. They were comforting eachother with their warmth. The four adults looked at them with soft eyes, no one could imagine the pain they are going through. Absolutely no one.
"Little master they are here" the worker said and both the kids stood up. They turned around and bowed at them
"Good evening, please come and take a seat" Kai said and made the adults sit on the couch. They noticed that Kai had dark circles around his eyes and his face looked red and puffy
"I am Detective Lim Ju-kyung" she said and shook hands with them "this is detective Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin and Min Yoongi" all of them shook hands
"Thankyou for helping us, this means alot" Jisoo said making Julie hold her hand
"This is our duty and we will help you" she said with a small smile
"Do you live here with Kai?" Jimin asked making her shake her head as a no
"I'm here to talk with you, once we are done I will leave" she said
"Oh I thought you both were a thing" hoseok said making the two kids scrunch their faces in disgust
"No no even if he is the last boy who lives on earth, I would never, I would date myself" Jisoo replied
"Same" Kai said making all of them chuckle
"Lets start" hoseok said and they nodded, he placed a recorder on top of the cofee table and turned it on "Jimin start" he said and Jimin nodded
"Tell us the relationship you have with your friends" he said and Kai took in a deep breath
"We study together in the same school, they were like my brothers and sisters, we always fight but we still got along because we only had us" kai said with a small smile on his face
"We do everything together, we fooled around, ditched classes, helped eachother, we were all besties" Jisoo said and sniffled
"Tell me, why did you go to the house that night?" Jimin asked
"School vacation started and we always would spend our time together by travelling and this time we went to kai's uncles mansion" Jisoo said and Kai continued
"I knew that my uncle had a mansion here in Busan and I have never visited it, so I asked permission from my uncle, he refused but later he agreed. I just wanted them to spend their life to the fullest, I never thought this would happen" kai said and broke down. Jisoo hugged him and calmed him down
"What happened that night?" Jimin continued with the question but Julie didn't like it, the kids needs sometime to calm down
"The house keeper George invited us in and we all went to bed by nine because we were tired. I don't know what happened after that because I'm a heavy sleeper. I woke up exactly at 12:53 because I felt thirsty, me and Kai shared a room in the ground floor while the other slept upstairs. I was really sleepy, I walked past the stairs and I slipped and fell on the floor. I thought it was water but when I saw hwasa on the floor and blood around her I p-panicked and I screamed" Jisoo sniffled and Kai continued
"I heard her scream and I checked the time, it was 12:55. I ran outside and saw Jisoo trying to wake Hwasa, without thinking twice I quickly called the police and the ambulance. And I went in search of my friends but- b-but they were missing" Kai said and hughed his knees on the couch
"Did you see someone, was there someone near?" Jimin asked and the kids looked at eachother
"We did although it wasn't a person, I don't know it was a person and it disappeared like the wind in a mere second. I thought it was the wind but, but I saw it in this house too, it is like the wind and its cold, it watches me when I sleep and It's scary" kai said and a shiver ran down his spine
"You mean like a ghost?" Jimin asked and he nodded. The living room was silent and calm. The four detectives were looking at eachother and no one spoke up
"I guess this is it for today" Julie said breaking the silence "Kai I need you to open the windows and let the sunlight hit this house, take my number" she gave her card to him "if you are in trouble just give me a call, I'll be here quickly" she said and kai nodded
They sat in their car and buckled up. The four detectives were quite but then hoseok spoke up "Do you think the ghost did it? I mean there was no any clue of a murderer" hoseok said making Jimin and yoongi huff
"You really believe those kids? They are traumatised by the incident, Ofcourse they are going to see something, they will hallucinate, they just need some time to heal" Jimin said and Julie sighed
"They said there was a housekeeper named George? Did you guys question him?"
