Aftermath Ninjago Movie Au

Part 1

Lloyd Garmadon walks down a busy street to the Ninjago city mall. He's listening to music and for the first time in a while, doesn't feel the strain of glares looking down on him. He feels relaxed and happy, happy that he's no longer shamed for his family ties. Being the son of the Lord Garmadon, Lloyd was blamed for the trouble his father had caused to the city. All through his life he feared, hated and unwanted. The only people that cared for him was his mother and friends: Nya, Kai, Cole, Zane, and Jay. While he was walking past an alley, he notices the man standing there not thinking anything about it. What he didn't know was that the man was after him, after Lloyd past him he reveals a dagger hidden in his pocket and smirks sadistically.
"Count your days Green Ninja." he whispered coldly.

As Lloyd enters the mall he immediately goes to his favorite sweet shop. Another person who was nice to him during his childhood was Coco, the owner of the shop and Lloyd's mother, Misako's, close friend. They'd always give free sweets to Lloyd and his friends.
" Coco! It's Lloyd." Lloyd shouts out. A middle-aged vitiligo with short curly dark brown hair steps out of the back and happily greets Lloyd with a smile.

"Hey Green Ninja, what's a strong and powerful being like your self doing here?" They remark.

"Very funny, you know I'll always have time to see you," Lloyd laughs "I'll get the usual for me and my friends."

"Ok then," Coco says running to the back. She returns with a hand full of stuff. "Ok... Red velvet cake and spicy gummy peppers for Kai, Rocky candy crystals and jawbreakers for Cole, Coconut icy parfait for Zane, Pop rockets and cane canes for Jay, blueberry boba and vanilla cake for Nya and, milk and white chocolate balls and sour gummy worms for you!" Lloyd smiled.

"Kai owes me another $10~" he sings smugly.
"You two still betting on when I'm gonna forget your favorites."
"Kai just doesn't know when to give up." Lloyd smirks. Coco sighs.
"What else do ya want L."
Lloyd orders a couple more things and pays Coco.
"Thanks again vitiligo sister!" Lloyd sings as he walks away.
"Us Vitiligo stick together!" Coco jokes back.

Yes Lloyd is vitiligo. Though none of his family or ancestors had it. Lloyd eventually found out that it was from the snake venom in his father that caused it as they would glow a soft green color when he got very angry. That not the only thing different about his appearance. He also had pointed ears like an elf, and fangs, like a wolf . This was because of him being part oni and dragon. As Lloyd walks out of Coco's store he stops short hearing whimpering coming from the crowd. He turns to see a young boy with long, and curly light brown hair gripping a teddy bear he has clutches to his chest. His hair is styled in the way Lloyd used to wear his when he was young. Let down and the front cover one of his eyes, though the boy's hair is more curly. The boy is alone and scared. He was looking around for someone, most likely one of his parents.

"What's a kid like him doing alone?" Lloyd wonders. He advances to the boy and taps his shoulder making the boy jump and whirl his head around. Lloyd could feel the boy tense up but then relax when he saw Lloyd. "What are you doing here alone kid? Where and your parents?" Lloyd asks

"Lloyd Garmadon! The Green Ninja!" The boy thought amazed.  He relaxes from Lloyd's hand on his shoulder. "I-," the boy stutters. "I lost Mama and big sis in the crowd... I don't know where they are now." Lloyd thinks for a second and chuckles to himself softly.
"This reminds me of when I met Nya and Kai." he thought to himself.

8 years earlier

9 year old Lloyd Garmadon walks out of Coco's sweet shop holding a bag of sweets waving goodbye to a younger Coco. He's wearing a black long sleeves under a green t-shirt, navy blue pants and black sneakers. As he walks through the mall he sees a young boy wandering around. He clearly looks lost. Lloyd immediately recognized him as Kai smith, a boy in is class who, like everyone, avoids him. He walks to Kai and taps his shoulder making him jump and whirl around.
