Part 2

Lloyd and Junior walk through the mall in search of Junior's mother and sister. They were snaking on the extra treats that Lloyd had bought along with his friends' orders. Junior looks up at Lloyd.

"Lloyd?" He asks.

"Yeah Junior?"

When did you start training to be a ninja?"

"I was 13 when a learned I was destined to be the green ninja, but I was your age when I started martial arts"

"Really? Cool!"

As they walked Junior started to feel more and more comfortable around Lloyd and continued asking him questions.

"What was the first weapon you learnt how to use?"

"A staff."

"What's your favorite weapon?"

"Dual swords."

"Do you have a girlfriend?"

"No."

"Really?"

"YES."

"Is it true that your mom's the Lady Iron Dragon?"

"Yep"

"Wow!"

"What's it like being related to Garmadon?"

"Tiring."

The two boys laughed as they continued to walk through the busy mall. Little did they know they were being followed. By the same man that Lloyd past on the street that very same day.

A few minutes later

The boys sat down to finish their sweets.

"Junior!"
"Little brother!"

They look up and see two girls running towards them. One, most likely Junior's mom, had light brown hair like Junior and light gray eyes. His sister had darker hair and had more of a blue pigment in her eyes like Junior.

"Mama! Finna!" Junior shouts. He jumps off his seat and runs towards the two. They all embrace in a big hug.

"Im so glad your ok," Junior's mom cries still clutching on to her son. "We've been looking everywhere for you."

"Sorry Mommy, I lost you in all the people," Junior replies. "Lloyd helped me," The young boy pointed to his rescuer. Junior's mom looks at the teen who had helped her son. "Mom this is Lloyd, the-"

"-Green ninja..." his mom finished.

"Cool!" Finna shouts in amazement.Lloyd stands up and walk to them and holds out his hand.

"Hello Ms. I'm Lloyd, but you already know that"
Junior's mother stared for a moment and then reached out and took Lloyd's hand.

"Thank you." She says. All of them smile. Junior's smile then suddenly drops.

"Lloyd look out!"

Lloyd dodge just in time for a man to come swinging at him with a dagger. He hits the ground in front of Junior's family. He quickly straightens up and turns to face his attacker. When the man turns Lloyd immediately recognized him.

'He's that guy from the alley way!' Lloyd thought. He takes a fighting stance and turns to Junior's mother.

"Call the police," he whispers, "I'll stall him for as long as I can." She nods and takes out her phone and backs away with her children. Lloyd turns back to the man who lunges at him again. Lloyd dodges and lands a blow to the mans back. He staggers a bit the turns to swing again. They continue to struggle and more and more people start crowding them. Finna and Junior were yelling and cheering Lloyd on. After what seemed like forever, Lloyd manages to pin the man to the ground. Both were panting. Lloyd still was recovering from injuries he got from the Meowtra attack and was still very sore. Under his hoodie his arms and chest where still bandaged.

"Mind telling me why you felt the need to attack me while I'm trying to relax?" Lloyd asks with a heavy breath. The man looks up at the panting teen and grins maniacally. The look sent chills up Lloyd's spine.

"The Quiet One wishes to get back at the dark lord for his crimes. And what better way to do that then to take out his son."

'The Quiet One?' Lloyd thought. His thoughts were interrupted by the man freeing his arm and swinging the dagger once again at him. Lloyd falls hard on his back and the man starts to get up only to be tackled once again. This time by Coco. They had hear the commotion and came to investigate along with many other shop owners. Like Misako, Coco was once a great warrior called the 'Whisper'. Being heavier than Lloyd, Coco was able to keep the man on the ground until sirens rang from outside the mall.

10min later

Two officers carry the man into custody. Coco, and Junior's mom are talking to a third officer. Junior clutches onto his mom, as he didn't like the noise of the sirens. He feels a tap on his shoulder and looks behind him to see his sister.

" You ok Junior?"

"Yeah..."

"Where's Lloyd?" The two look around the crowd of people.

"There!" Finna says pointing to a corner. There stood Lloyd leaning heavily on the wall. He was still breathing hard and clutching his side. He looks extremely tired. The two siblings exchange glances and nod. They start walking toward him. When they get to him Junior tugs on his hoodie to get his attention. Lloyd looks down at the two and pulls a tired smile. He kneels down to get to their level.

"Hey guys, are you two ok?" The two looked at him solemnly.

"We should be asking you that." Finna replies.

"You look tired..." Junior worries. Lloyd staggered to stand up . His legs were still shaking and he was still clutching his side.

"Don't worry I-I'm f-fine-." Lloyd starts to say. He starts to sway and falls backwards to the floor.

"Lloyd!"

Lloyd gets caught by a young police officer. She had redish brown hair up in a low ponytail. She was also watching Lloyd seeing that he was staggering and had run up behind him when she saw him fall back. Lloyd laid limp in the woman's arms. He had passed out.

"Lloyd!" Coco yells running to Lloyd's side. They look him over and gasps.

"What? What it it?!"

Coco slowly moves Lloyd's hand from his side and reveals blood on his hand and a growing stain of blood on Lloyd's hoodie. Everyone's eyes widened.

"Lloyd..." Junior says laying his hand on Lloyd's stomach, causing Lloyd to wince. The young officer called paramedics.

Lloyd POV

I remember that I was exhausted. My body was aching. My ears were ringing and the sirens just made it worse. My side was burning. I didn't know why I didn't get hit, did I? I stood the corner to wait out the crowd. I felt a hand tug at my hoodie. I look down and see Junior and his sister Finna. I gather up enough strength to pull a smile and leaned down. They ask if a I was alright I tell them I was fine. But then, my vision blurred, and a staggered back and fell. The last thing I heard was Junior and Finna calling out to me...

" LLOYD!!!!!"
