Just the beginning

The sun rays were beaming down on Nesrin by the time school got out. He admired her from the distance, hiding behind people which caused people to mumble under their breath when he pushed through people, keeping Nesrin in his view.

Fucking perv, what is wrong with people these days. Who stares at their crush and follow them like they are paparazzi.

Beads of sweat dripped down her chin while some of her hair stuck up from all the stressed hair pulling the school day has done to her. The boy burned a hole in her back as if he was wanting to try to make a hole right through her for a quick exit.

Just a little closer... he picked up his pace. Almost there, 5 more footsteps. His dream is about to be...

"Eserine!" ruined. His dream is about to be ruined.

He turned around on his heel and stared down at the little jolly pigtailed freak... I mean the child that stood in front of him. The little girl took his hand in hers and started to skip. Well, she at least made an effort, she got pulled back because Eserine hasn't moved on a step.

"Molly let go of my hand, your 10 now." He yanked his hand back and stuffed it in his black hoodie. He began to head for the lined-up cars that sat behind the busses.

"But mom said you have to hold my hand!" Molly exclaimed. He put in his headphones and let his little sister's annoying remarks drown away while chase Atlantic filled his ears.

His eyes were focused on the concrete sidewalk that laid under his feet. Every step he made, every shoe dragging noise, he made sure not to step on the cracks that broke them into different squares.

He's weird, right?

Every time he stepped on a crack he backtracked his steps and walked again making sure not to step on it for the second time. He looks like he is on rewind, maybe his record is a lot mixed up.

He reached a dark green Range Rover and opened the back door. He tossed his bag on the other side before he picked up Molly, strapping her in her all-black car seat.

He closed the door, making sure not to slam it because his mom will beat his ass. Literally, it's a new car so with one loud door slam, he will get slammed into the ground.

He opened the passenger's door and got in. He put on his seat belt and leaned over to place a soft kiss on his mother's cheek. He sat back in his seat which caused his earbud to fall out just in time for his mother to pester him with questions.

"How was school sweaty?" The mother chimed while looking in the review mirror at Molly.

"It was good mommy but Ez didn't hold my hand!" She snitched.

I forgot you're new here, Ez is Eserines nickname sweetheart.

Eserine let a little groan out of his mouth as he closed his eyes, "Molly your too old, I'm not your fucking babysitter." He barked at the girl as she and his mother glared at him.

His mom slapped him on the back of the head which caused him to suck in his breath and hold the back of his head. "ESERINE! Watch your mouth!"

"Sorry."

The mom rolled her eyes and continued to ask Eserine the same question she asked Molly.

"It's school...how do you think it went? It's stupid-" he shook his head, "Actually the students are stupid." he corrected himself.

"You're the stupid one" Molly stated while she was played on her iPad making sure to stick her tongue out at him.

His sister caused him to react and reach behind his seat and act like he was about to attack the girl till his mother pushed him back down on the seats.

"That's enough, Eserine no tv tonight after dinner!" He didn't even waste his energy because if he argued back it would be pushed back to more time. He put his headphones in again and closed his eyes.

Just when Friend's started to play by chase Atlantic, he couldn't help think about her.
