"Is everything okay, my Prince?"
Jungkook looked up at his hyung, who chuckled after seeing the expression written on the Prince's face.
The General smiled after chuckling, "the blondie is Namjoon, the other one is Taehyung, Namjoon's best friend," he explained in a whisper to the younger.
The two said males finally reached the Prince and the General, them both bowing towards the youngers direction.
"Welcome! We have people waiting on us so we must be quick," the Prince welcomed, trying not to make eye contact with the so called Taehyung.
The Prince looked up at the General, "General Kim, please take them to the garden where the feast is being hosted, I need to quickly go to the kitchen and check up on things," the Prince instructed.
Jungkook rushed away, straight towards a room he knew Jimin would be in.
For some reason, due to Jimin's lover getting arrested that morning, he wasn't allowed to attend the feast. Too much controversy.
"Hyung! I think I'm in love," Jungkook said as soon as he closed the door behind him and sat down on the seat in the Library.
The Library was one of the older favourite spot to sit in, it was always peaceful, unless Jungkook was ranting about some randomness.
Jimin looked up from the book he was reading and looked over at the prince laying down on the sofa opposite the one he was on.
"With who? Is Prince Hoseok here?" Jimin asked with a chuckle in his voice. "You know that was a phase! But no, some guy Namjoon brought with him! I think he has to be the most beautiful male to walk this earth!!" Jungkook whined, picturing the image of Taehyung's delicate facial features.
Jimin placed his handmade bookmark, that Jungkook made him for his birthday, into the current page he was on in his book and closed it, putting it on the coffee table.
The older crossed his legs, "do you know his name?" He asked, interested in this new crush Jungkook may have.
"According to Seokjin hyung, his name is Taehyung," the Prince spoke.
Jimin thought for a moment, then realisation hit. "Jungkook, oh my gosh. Taehyung is literally friends with my boyfriend," he said.
Jungkook rose from his seat and sat up properly, "what, and I'm only just meeting this absolute beaut?! And how on earth does your boyfriend know everyone?" Jungkook yelled, wishing to have met the boy earlier.
Jimin laughed. Their conversation was interrupted when the Library door opened, "Prince Jungkook, your father needs you at the feast, he wants you to make a speech," General Kim spoke from the doorway.
"Shit," Jungkook muttered under his breath. He said his goodbyes to Jimin and quickly walked to the back of the Palace, going straight to the long table the dinner was being served at.
Each person was given a plate of food, no one being allowed to eat it until the speeches had been made.
Jungkook stood at his seat, a microphone in his hand so everyone can hear him.
He cleared his throat before beginning to speak, "good evening! On behalf of my family, I thank you all for arriving on this beautiful evening. We're here to thank our gracious army and their hard work on protecting Busan from our enemies in the recent battle."
"We all thank you, our perfect army, for battling for us, protecting us, saving us, risking your life for our own," the Prince thanked before handing the microphone to his Father, who basically said near enough the same thing at the Prince.
Everyone was soon allowed to eat, conversations appeared between everyone.
Jungkook looked over at his sister, and decided to start a conversation with her, "Jungha, how've you been?" He asked her. "I've been okay, nothing interesting. How is your photography doing?" She asked, wanting to change the topic.
"Great, I actually have pictures being developed right now," he smiled.
The feast had concluded later and the ballroom had been decorated for the after party, more people arriving to attend.
Jungkook was talking to a few friends before Namjoon and Taehyung walked over to him, them both bowing towards the Prince once he'd noticed them.
He said his goodbyes to his friends before turning his attention to the new comers. "Hello," the Prince said, the two fixing their posture. "Seokjin hyung wanted us to talk to you, apparently you didn't have anyone to speak to you?" Namjoon spoke in a questioning manner.
Jungkook chuckled, "the whole Kingdom wants to speak to me, it's just that I'm very picky on who I speak to, you can't trust anyone these days. Especially after Jiminie hyung's boyfriend got arrested today under my father's command," the boy said.
"How old are you guys? I want to know if I must use honorifics or not," the Prince asked. "I'm 20," Namjoon answered.
"I'm 18 next month," Taehyung replied in a deep, raspy voice which almost made Jungkook fall onto his knees.
The Prince giggled, "I guess I must use honorifics then, it's nice to meet you, hyungs," he said before looking down at his drink.
"So, Prince Jungkook, what do you do in your spare time?" Taehyung asked, the three males sat down at a table.
The youngest thought for a moment, "I love to paint, I always ask General Kim to go to the town to buy me some new canvas' and paints. I also love photography, whenever my father let's me go into the town with General Kim, I always bring my camera with me so I can take photos, I even have a special red room for them to develop in."
Taehyung admired the way the Prince's eyes shimmered as he spoke, it brought a warm feeling in his chest and stomach.
The General walked over to the three laughing males and whispered into the Prince's ear, "Prince Hoseok and his family have just arrived, get your family and go welcome them." The General walked away after finishing his sentence.
"It was great talking to you too, I just need to go say hello to some special people and I'll be right back," the Prince said before dashing away and towards the exit, ignoring the fact that he needed to go get his own family.
"Prince Jungkook!" The King of Gwangju grinned as he embraced the small boy's body in a warm hug. "Welcome to the Kingdom of Busan!" Jungkook welcomed after removing himself from the King of Gwangju.
Jungkook looked over at Hoseok who was focused on some loose thread on his pants.
Even though Hoseok didn't show any attention to the younger Prince, Jungkook kept a smile on, trying to look professional.
"Hello, Prince Jungkook," a female voice spoke out, quietly and nervously. The said Prince looked over to see the Princess shyly smiling towards him.
The Prince awkwardly smiled back. He knew the Princess of Gwangju had taken a small liking towards the 17-year-old but obviously hadn't taken any interest into her since he's... you know, gay.
"Good evening, Princess Jiwoo," Jungkook smiled. The King of Gwangju nudged his son, gaining his attention. "What is it, father?" Hoseok basically spat, pissed off his father grabbed his attention.
The King sighed, "Prince Jungkook is right in front of you and you're just going to ignore him?" He whisper-yelled.
"Hey Jungkook," Hoseok said, not bothering to use honorfics in front of everyone.
Jungkook rolled his eyes, Hoseok was clearly going through something.
"Hey Prince Jungkook, Seokjin hyung wants to speak to you," a deep voice spoke. That same deep voice which could make the Prince cream his pants. Taehyung.
