♕ Reina Simmons ♕
"Are you Lucas' girlfriend?" Darcy asked, while still coloring her book.
I giggled a little at her question.
"No, Darcy. Your brother is just my partner for my art homework."
She perked her head up and gave me these wide eyes. "You draw too? Are your paintings as good as his?"
"My paintings are better than his Darcy." I put some paint on her tiny little nose and smiled at her.
"Angel, I think we all know my paintings are better." Lucas walked into Darcy's room.
I scoffed. "I thought her name was Reina." Darcy asked confused.
Lucas sat in between Darcy and me. "That's just what I call her, it's my pet name for her. Just like how you call me 'Lucy bear'.", Darcy went back to coloring her book. "Did you finish your homework?" Lucas asked Darcy. She nodded her head up and down.
"Reina helped me. She's good at helping. Will she be coming over more?"
Lucas looked at me and I looked up from the piece of paper I was painting with Darcy. We both held eye contact. "I don't know Darcy. Angel here doesn't really like me that much, she was just here so we can finish our homework quickly." He had this grin on his face.
"Don't worry Darcy. If you want me to come over I will, as long as your brother isn't here." I looked at him with a smile.
"Darcy, dinners ready." Lucas' mom walked into the room. "Oh good, you guys are in here as well. Come on dinners ready." She finished. Darcy jumped up and waited for me to get up. She held onto my hand and started dragging me out of the room. "Hey, what about your brother?" Lucas yelled as she was already out the door with my arm. I looked back at him and laughed. "Jealous?" He rolled his eyes.
Darcy dragged me down the stairs, excited to have a person over other than her brother. She took a seat. I was about to take my seat but was interrupted. "Excuse me sweetheart, but I usually sit there." It was an older look-alike of Lucas. "Names Nathan." He introduced himself. "And what might be yours, gorgeous?"
"Reina." He was extremely handsome had almost the same features as Lucas, except he had different colored eyes. Hazel eyes.
"Reina here has been working on a project with your brother Lucas, for school." Lucas' mom spoke. Lucas was now beside me, giving Nathan a hard glare.
"Nice to see you too, brother." Well, I'm guessing they don't have a good relationship. Lucas turned around and took his seat at the table. The only seat left was the one next to him, unfortunately.
"Reina, honey, if you need anything let me know." His mom assured me. I gave her a light smile and a head nod.
"So, little brother, what's this project you two are working on?" Nathan asked Lucas, but it was more like he was asking me by the way his eyes wouldn't move from my face.
"None of your fucking business." Lucas responded.
His mom gasped. "Language Lucas, Darcy is at the table."
"Sorry, Darcy." He looked at her.
"Um, we're just doing an art project." I answered his question.
"You draw too, darling?"
"Yeah, it keeps my head space off of things sometimes."
"So, what exactly do you like to do?"
